Donald Trumps utter smackdown of Gail Collins at the *cough sputter cough* NYT?

I hadn’t seen it. Thanks for the good morning dose of common sense, ted c.

I did catch the Ashley Bite-Me lame attack on Trump that actually left Obama the butt of her “apprentice” joke. “Birther” coming from a Bite-Me just smart enough to be recorded snorting cocaine again shows that Ashley bit off more than she can chew without the media covering her ass.

Well I see the meme has gone out from the White House that The Tea Party is toxic to the Republicans, politics in general, and economic recovery and the MSM are more that happy oblige. Seen two stories already on two different channels – we wouldn’t be in the mess today without them. So think about them when you’re pumping gas today I suppose.

I can attest to the veracity of that study. When I lived on the South Rim of the grand Canyon I never hiked to Phantom Ranch with less than 4 beers for the trip.

The Tea Party threatens the power structure of Washington DC and all state capitols. Both parties have to diminish them or the people will take back the country.

darwin-t on April 9, 2011 at 9:04 AM

Dear leader looks depressed, like he really wanted the ‘shutdown’ and is disappointed it didn’t happen. After all, he did cancel two trips in preparation. Did someone tell him he would have to give up the Blackberry?

Kissmygrits on April 9, 2011 at 9:06 AM

Obama gets to go on vacation now. How nice. They should schedule all these debates just before Obama wants to go on vacation. Maybe more would get done.

I’m starting to wonder whether one reason he’s having so many vacations is that it is easier to have contact with certain friends of his. Doesn’t have to keep a log of people he meets and talks with. Just a thought. One never knows.

darwin-t on April 9, 2011 at 9:04 AM

It’s amazing how you can look at two different “Conservative” sites and get such different perspectives. Lucianne.com is linking from NRO and I guess this budget deal was all kinds of WIN. And I’d bet my next paycheck Charles Krauthammer reports the same thing.

Marcus on April 9, 2011 at 9:09 AM

We need to keep raising these cuts, though. Got to get up in the three digit category here real soon. Next week make it 110 billion. The week after that 300 billion in cuts. A few weeks later 600 billion. I’m ok with that.

JellyToast on April 9, 2011 at 9:10 AM

Boy am I relieved. Now all the women, children and old people won’t be killed, right?

You know, these budget cuts remind me of women.

You know, how they’ll order two slices of pizza, then get a diet coke? Big deal you got a diet coke, you still ordered two bigass slices of topping pizza.

The Dems won’t give him any concessions in the debt limit debate because they know he won’t go all the way. They win.

JohnInCA on April 9, 2011 at 12:06 AM

Watching Ken Burns’ “Civil War” on PBS this week, one thing about how to win really hit me. If you go at the enemy with everything you’ve got, and really fight, those are the ones who win. The timid, they lose.

Actually, women and children will continue to be killed, and the elderly remain debatable at this point.

Sorry to be off topic but has Hot Air posted anything about the new regulations for ObamaCare?
So far, 6 pages of ObamaCare has turned into over 400 pages once HHS added in regulations.

The Obama Monument will be a very deep hole… deeper than the Washington Monument is tall… at the bottom there will be a small piece of paper… Upon that paper will be the letters…

I enjoy that blog:

Obama also took credit for the “historic” budget cut. A cut he and his supporters fought. Even Ezra Klein, a reliable supporter of things Obama, could not help but point out the hypocrisy of Democrats taking credit for the budget cuts.

It struck me too that this little poseur was dragged into the budget cuts kicking and screaming, and now he has the gall to take credit for them. He’s either dangerously divorced from reality or playing us all for fools.

petefrt on April 9, 2011 at 10:15 AM

I can assure all of you that if the government closed I’d compare pictures from the Washington Monument open, show it closed and there would not be a bit of a difference.

Something like this was what Cavuto said yesterday. In the meantime, Speaker Boehner is getting a smackdown on Facebook.
