It doesn’t take much. The Founding Fathers had a room full of guys to get the Declaration signed then churn out the Articles… all Poland needed was the Declaration and we soon got our first Light Cavalry.

Amazing things can happen with a few people who know what they are doing.

Much bloodshed usually ensues with those who are unclear on the concept. I would much prefer not supporting this latter type.

The R’s can always put in language that ‘money appropriated in this bill cannot be used for operations connected with Libya’… it is what the D’s did with Vietnam.

I’ve got no love for Kadufus, but I would at least appreciate it if the rebels would say what they are standing for and what their accountability is. Get that little improvised government thing going, first. Otherwise its hard to see how this is different than any other internecine fight over who rules.

Then again, the Palestinians have had over 50 years and they still can’t figure that little bit out: that no one bestows a government to you to get a country, you get your countrymen together and form a government.

The Gulf War was waged by a UN-authorized coalition (Bush 41 did it the right way), but as I recall, the left was none too happy about that one. In fact, most of the Democrats in Congress voted against the authorizing resolution. We all know the deciding factor for the left is whether an “R” or a “D” occupies the White House.

A no fly zone is an act of war, in a country the size of Libya it will require a significant military presence and this is yet another war in another muslim country which we are going to fight half a**ed war that eventually will put American troops in danger. He insists that we will not have a ground presence, hoping this will help him politically yet you don’t say things like that when you’re trying to scare a dictator into giving up! He truly is all talk using bold words about enforcing his ultimatum on Qadaffi with military force is he doesn’t cooperate, but then rules out the use of ground troops? I don’t want to see a ground presence in Libya, I don’t trust the rebels, but you don’t let Qadaffi know that.
