Video: Hey, let’s teach little kids to chant against Scott Walker

posted at 10:24 pm on March 14, 2011 by Allahpundit

An instant classic from the indefatigable Ann Althouse. She’s troubled by the sight of kids being taught to chant without comprehension, but that’s actually useful here, no? Comprehension would entail knowing that Wisconsin public employees still have more collective bargaining rights on pay and benefits than our federal work force has, and if kids knew that, well, they might conclude that it’s Obama who should be the one to go. And certainly that would be the wrong lesson.

I’m just glad there are adults around to set them on the right path. Click the image to watch.

In all likelihood these are the teachers’ kids. Still reprehensible, though.

I’m a conservative public school teacher in a closed-shop state. When my state gets enmeshed in this garbage, I’ll be the only one to report to work if need be.

They can shove it. Hear me, NEA? Shove it.

I love the hyper spastic “beliefs” these teachers have.

So, kids wont get a quality education because………. teachers dont have certain collective bargaining rights that were in the red.

Thankfully I know its not about the children – and all about the power… hmmm – sounds familiar.

I would like to see the Wisconsin legislators pass rules in the House and Senate that officials who clearly abandon their seats by leaving the state have 5 working days to return, lest a simple majority of the remaining legislators pass a resolution declaring that seat to be empty, in which case the Governor may appoint a replacement to represent the district until the next scheduled election.

This is how Democracy works.

Elections have consequences.

Abandoning a public office has consequences.

Who knows? Maybe with enough indoctrination, the Leftists can help us close the Mid-Eastern kiddie suicide bomber gap.

And it could also give them another shot at the ones that they missed in the womb.

Just wait until those little chanters find out that they have to go to school through the entire summer to make up for their teachers’ absences. They just might decide to change their tune.
