Video: And now, some important messages from the Wisconsin union protesters
posted at 6:12 pm on February 18, 2011 by Allahpundit
Two instant classics to cleanse the palate culled by Hengler from FNC’s coverage this afternoon. The first is short and sweet — “thi$ i$ for the kid$!”, as is always the case with teachers’ union demands — but the second one takes awhile to get going. By all means, stick with it. See for yourself what happens when a diehard Fox-hater finally gets his chance to make the case against Ailes’s evil empire on its own airwaves.
The One hasn’t weighed in yet, as far as I know, on what he thinks about Wisconsin Senate Democrats deciding that going on the lam is now an acceptable democratic option in America. Pelosi, however, has. Take a wild guess.

Yep.
He is trying to wreck democracy.
He is an enemy of the state.

Why does FNC keep him?

Well, Obama said to get in their faces. How’d that work out for bi-word guy?

I will admit I might be rethinking this; I’m a little concerned to discover that without the teacher’s unions my kids will no longer have weekends.

Ever see that scene in Scanners when that dude’s head blew up?
The Ugly American on February 18, 2011 at 7:11 PM
wow, if these teachers don’t get fat bennies, then I may have to work more than eight hours a day. Hey, wait a second, that’s backwards!
joeindc44 on February 18, 2011 at 7:11 PM
If, at any time, my child was taken from a classroom to a protest without my knowledge, on a bus, without my knowledge and approval… there would be a lawsuit.
Hence, Cloward Piven
Key West Reader on February 18, 2011 at 7:12 PM
I’m also concerned. I don’t work for a union, and I don’t want to go into work tomorrow. Thankfully, the teacher’s unions somehow conned my private IT company into not making me work on the weekends. Thanks WEAC!

No matter how you slice this sausage, it won’t end well.
Barack Hussein Obama and his elves of unrest have been licking their chops and their greasy fingers in the hope for the change that will make the US look like greece and ireland and the middle east.
They are doing this on purpose and we must realize that fact. Tea Party, don’t go.
Key West Reader on February 18, 2011 at 7:18 PM
Because I’m a vindictive SOB I would isolate all the teacher faces at the protest and when they hand in a “sick” excuse from a MD fire them. Then go after the MD for malpractice!
marinetbryant on February 18, 2011 at 7:19 PM
Just picture “Beanie Boy” from the second clip…
… shouting his crap, 8 hours a day, in front of your children, for an entire school year.
Now how do you feel about this ‘protest’…?

Well, needless to say that teacher still teaches but her television was removed from the room.

Oh wow. My husband should unionize himself. He’s a small business owner, and has been putting in no fewer than 13-hr. days, M-F. And Saturdays all day, six mos. out of each year. But that’s because he’s “won life’s lottery” or something.
hoosiermama on February 18, 2011 at 7:28 PM
What is this weekend thing that everyone is talking about?
Don’t know about you all but because of burdensome taxes, I and my coworkers regularly work weekends just to keep up in our small business. And we each pay thousands per year in our contribution to our medical insurance and we don’t even have dental or vision coverage.
At least I get weekends off to sleep in the armory. But then again, if that’s a fringe benefit, perhaps I’m going to have a bigger tax bill.

Here in Tucson, a bunch of the public schools took students (in taxpayer-funded school buses) out of school last year so they could attend protests against the state legislature’s attempts to more rigorously enforce immigration laws. The kids were brain-washed into protesting the laws, based on the idiot lib teachers’ pro-illegal alien bias.
Never mind that many of the American public-school students here don’t get the quality of education they need and deserve because so many tax dollars have to be spent on providing bi-lingual and remedial education for all the illegal alien students. What matters is that those illegals are future Democratic voters!
AZCoyote on February 18, 2011 at 7:31 PM
Meticulous attention should be paid to the special relations and obligations of public servants to the public itself and to the Government….The process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service. A strike of public employees manifests nothing less than an intent on their part to obstruct the operations of government until their demands are satisfied. Such action looking toward the paralysis of government by those who have sworn to support it is unthinkable and intolerable.
Who said this???

Just watched Walker’s amazing WI press conference. I hope other Governors were taking notes. (AP/Ed, please find this and get the video posted!)
He pointed out that state cuts are coming to many areas, including education and city employees. Without the elimination of collective bargaining (which usually takes 15 months to negotiate any changes to contracts), communities and cities will be left with no option than to lay off teachers and city employees.
He is simply trying to provide local communities and cities with the tools to meet budget cuts without laying off people in a poor economy.
WOW, just wow!

… but didn’t Obama and Ayers work against the teachers union in Chicago ?
So this isn’t a stand on principle .. it’s purely a money/power play

i watch in awe as the progressive left kicks into high gear, using the taxpayer supported political infrastructure they have brilliantly constructed over the decades to defend their most recent gains of the last 2 years.
As they wear the Republicans down, they will soon gain enough public sympathy to consolidate their positions and saddle up for their next legislative raid on the US Treasury.
They have constructed a self perpetuating, taxpayer funded political machine in plain sight while the Republicans stand around, scratching their arses and wonder what the h•ll happened.

Watch Larry Kudlow on CNBC instead of Shep. They’re on at the same time and Kudlow’s show is better in every way. I know, it’s _NBC, but Kudlow is smarter, more informative and more conservative.

Dear Hot Air friends,
When you feel like decimating public school teachers–even those not involved in union mentality or activity–please remember that the “FOX LIES!” man is the raw material presented to us.
Yes, we’re supposed to work miracles with the likes of this clown, with not two working brain cells to bump together.
Remember that.

I don’t know about any of you, but myself and a few others were predicting this before the Kenyan Fraud snookered the masses into putting him into the Oval Office.
Make no mistake about it, he’s a globalist, as self-professed “citizen of the world”. He never plans on leaving the White House as he envisions even larger things to be achieved from his lofty perch. People like that never hand power over to a successor unless it’s one of their grown children.
He’s using the Unions to agitate civil unrest. His own website is calling for it. The reason for their unrest is merely incidental. If it wasn’t this reason, it would be something else, contrived or otherwise.
This is only the beginning folks… Hunker down and prepare for the long nightmare that is about to unfold. One which your children might not even wake from.
The Socialist/Communist Left has reeked havoc on populations which had the misfortune of coming under their control, usually achieving power by having duped the masses into electing them as their Leaders. Obama is cut from this very same mold and even spent a lifetime schooled in this regard. The Global Leftist establishment wouldn’t have been so solidly behind him in the last election if they thought otherwise. He’s one of them.
Obama knows the tide of opinion is rapidly moving against him and his administration. The last election was an eye-opener. Now he just needs a reason to suspend the constitution and declare martial law of course, to restore civility and stop the riots that they themselves are causing. Once that happens, anybody who resists or otherwise lifts any kind of weapon against his gov’t agents will be deemed an Enemy of the State and hauled off for internment. Those FEMA camps they’ve been building in remote areas around the country to house people in times of emergency will be put to good use.
I could go on but I think you understand what is to come. Think “Greece Riots” happening in an increasing number of States in America and Obama then saying he has “no choice” but to act. After that? It’s over…

The teachers shouldn’t be paid as they are on strike at the moment, and as public employees they should be fired for interfering with custodial arrangements of the students’ parents, kidnapping, and other criminal activities. The governor should declare the 14 democraps’ seats to be vacant and schedule special elections to replace them.
