CPAC interview with Javier Manjarres

posted at 12:00 pm on February 13, 2011 by Ed Morrissey

Perhaps the greatest honor I have received in my blogging career was being named CPAC’s Blogger of the Year in 2010, and of course being introduced by Rush Limbaugh. This year, I got to do the honors for Javier Manjarres, proprietor of The Shark Tank, which not only covered the big races in Florida but aggressively reported independently, broke big stories, and especially got confrontational with former Governor Charlie Crist. Javier sat down with me yesterday — after my teasing him for three days for being my successor — and we talked (mostly) seriously about the road he traveled to his achievement.

Javier has this clip of my introduction and his acceptance speech from Friday:

Was I tempted to pull a Kanye West up there? Well … I’ll never tell.

Thanks for the information. I will add him to my places to visit. Especially since I live in Florida.

“Perhaps the greatest honor I have received in my blogging career was being named CPAC’s Blogger of the Year in 2010…”

Not true!

One time, I said that Ed Morrissey was ‘pretty cool’ to a friend. THAT’S your highest honor.
