I would argue the opposite. Ten to fifteen years ago the idea of pushing for “gay marriage” would have gotten you laughed out of any DEMOCRATIC Party gathering. On the East Coast. I know. I was there.

I still remember when there were economically liberal pro-life Senators and Congressmen/women in the Democratic Party. They are almost all gone now.

As far as the Republcian go, leave it to the “stupid party” to throw pro-life over the side just when pro-life support is increasing, in order to satisfy the Tea Party.

This is true. If there is only one realistic party, then the GOP will become the bigger spenders that all politicians want to be.

Don’t know where Trump stands on any issues, but did see where he gave Rahm $50,000 for his campaign. Don’t see that as anything but being a liberal, certainly not my kind of republican.
