Cohen: You know, Pence is like a bad guy from last century I can’t name

Gee, who might that be?  Lavrentiy Beria?  Lin Biao?  Che Guevara, perhaps?  Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) continues his Republicans are (shhhhh!) Nazis Tour, taking it to the newly-promoted-to-primetime show of Ed Schultz on MSNBC, the only place where Cohen can peddle his mudthrowing without challenge.  And guess what?  Despite having a graphic on the screen that asks, “OVER THE LINE?”, Schultz predictably never challenges Cohen (via Newsbusters):

Wait a minute, I’ve got it — Cohen obviously means Joe McCarthy.  Either that, or he’s channeling McCarthy.

What a little weasel! For the past 20 years, Democrats have used the shout, rinse, repeat method…and now that the Republicans are stealing their propaganda plan, the Democrats stand up and scream bloody murder while connecting the method to someone who won’t be named from last century. Rep. Cohen, you are disgusting and reprehensible.

It is difficult to overstate the hilarity of MSNBC promoting a man this stupid and inconsequential into a prime time cable television news show.

He’s Olbertwit without the smooth broadcast skill and sports references. He’s Dennis Kucinich without the gravitas.

We, the disgusting and reprehensible, take offense as being associated with Mr. Cohen. We demand that you cease using those adjectives at once. Remember, we have all the lawyers.

Shhhh, don’t bother him…
Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) is following in the same footsteps as Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL). The good people of Florida, voted Grayson into the trash bin of history.
