The Ed Morrissey Show: Duane “Generalissimo” Patterson and the Week in Review

posted at 1:00 pm on January 21, 2011 by Ed Morrissey

Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), we’ll take a look at the past week with Duane “Generalissimo” Patterson of the Hugh Hewitt Show. Duane and I will talk about the New Tone in Washington, and who’s proving tone-deaf. Republicans got off to a fast start this week in the House, and we’ll discuss their new initiatives and who may be surprising some conservatives. We’ll also ask our Chatizens to think of a New Tone nickname for Duane, since we need something that doesn’t refer to war or violence. Duane “Umpire” Patterson? Duane “Director” Patterson? Duane “Manpris” Patterson? All of this and more — and stay tuned for a preview of tonight’s Hugh Hewitt Show.

The Ed Morrissey Show and its dynamic chatroom can be seen on the permanent TEMS page — be sure to join us, and don’t forget to keep up with the debate on my Facebook page, too!

Now you can join the conversation in the chat room! Be sure to register at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions. (And if the log-in prompt doesn’t come up in the chat box below, use this link instead.) Jazz Shaw of The Moderate Voice and The Monster moderate the chat, and we have Troll Gun Trivia Contest running before the show, for those who get there early — and are registered!
