Ed Schultz: Hey, sorry for calling these Republican bastards “bastards”

posted at 9:10 pm on January 5, 2011 by Allahpundit

Is this really as close as we’re going to get to a bona fide lefty media meltdown on the day the new tea-party Congress was finally sworn in? Big Ed reading from his political Book of Revelation about the coming Republican apocalypse — and then sheepishly apologizing for it? Good lord. I remember a day not long ago when even CNN correspondents out on assignment could be counted on to get snotty with the conservatives they deigned to interview. Fast-forward 18 months or so and now they’re hosting debates together. What happened? Was Boehner’s conciliatory speech really that effective?

Maybe Lawrence O’Donnell has a tantrum planned for 10 p.m.? Here’s hoping, my friends. Click the image to watch.

The apology is appropriate – the GOP was legitimately elected.

Can’t say the same for the Dems.

It’s amusing to me to follow Newsbusters with stories on who-likes-who and who-is-in-who’s camp at MSNBC and to figure out easily that both Special Ed and Olberman are in Scarborough and Tom Browkaw’s gun sites. Management is itching to get rid of both, including their biggest ratings draw, Olberman. Tingles has been there since antiquity, but I predict Olberman’s recent suspension was just a trial balloon.

Speaking of tantrums, according to a fellow citizen born in
Canada,turned Lefty operative,Peter Jennings,it occured,in
1994,the The Republican *evolution of ’94,in which,he stat
ed that their was a collective Tantrum fit!!
===========================================================

Jennings came under increasing scrutiny for what some observers deemed a liberal bias. The anchor drew fire from conservatives, such as the MRC and Cal Thomas, for his November 14, 1994 remarks on ABC Radio, in which he analyzed the results of the 1994 US midterm elections.
——————————————————–

“Some thoughts on those angry voters. Ask parents of any two-year-old and they can tell you about those temper tantrums:

the stomping feet, the rolling eyes, the screaming,” said Jennings.

“Imagine a nation full of uncontrolled two-year-old rage.

The voters had a temper tantrum last week….Parenting and governing don’t have to be dirty words: the nation can’t be run by an angry two-year-old.”

They want to outsource jobs. They want to destroy the American dream. Concentrate the wealth to the top, and control minorities. That’s what they’re about.

Well he is exactly right that is what the Progressive Democrats want to do! Oops, wait, he was talking about the Republicans? He seems to have tagged the left perfectly there, sorry for my confusion.

Could it be that Democrats are coming to realize just how close their elected favorites came to destroying this country? That they’ve come to their senses when it comes to spending, budgets, deficits, and debts? Could it be that they are now fearful of losing Americas rating in the world, and becoming a banana republic? Could it be they now care about all of the children of this nations future, and their childrens, children?

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. A leopard doesn’t change it’s spots.

You have to be a baby boomer in order to fully understand how much damage the baby boomers have done to this culture. And like Judah and the Macabees, it will take a handful of brave, righteous baby boomers (like Rush and Sarah) to set things straight.

Is there anyone on MSNBC who isn’t a baby boomer?

Ed Schultz: emotional, contrite and passionate.

John Boehner: a crying drunk in need of psychological help.

…Book of Revelation about the coming Republican apocalypse

Yes Allahpundit, the Book of Revelation is an apocalyptic book describing a horrible seven year period of tribulation, and the rise of an evil Antichrist (and his one-world currency) who attempts to take over the world. And God told us over 2000 years ago what would happen in these end times and how it would go down. What things would be involved. You see folks, I don’t want to be unkind, but most of you are going to be left behind (this means that you will miss the rapture) and when you enter the tribulation period you WON’T make it out alive and that’s really the truth because the Bible says by the time everything’s said and done and the tribulation period is over, only a fraction of the world’s population will be left. Actually if you crunch the numbers you have about a one in ten chance of survival. IOW, your chances of making it through the tribulation are slim to none! So that’s why you should obey the command of God and today if you hear His voice. Don’t harden your heart, OK? Does that make sense? You gonna think about this? The other thought is you could die tonight in your sleep. So think about it today. Think about your salvation. Because God doesn’t want you to go to Hell. I don’t want you to go to Hell. Only the Devil wants you to go to Hell. The Bible says he blinds the minds of them that believe not. He deceives them. He wants to hold on to you. He wants to take you to Hell. Jesus said the thief comes not but to kill, to steal, and to destroy: I’m come that you might have life, and have it more abundantly. So why would you serve the Devil and let him take you to Hell? Don’t do that. You’re smarter than that. Tell the Devil to take his stinking paws off you. Well, I have to go now. Thanks for listening. Really… thanks.
