Judge Napolitano: It’s hard for me to believe that WTC7 came down by itself

posted at 7:29 pm on November 29, 2010 by Allahpundit

Via the Right Scoop, it’s a few days old but shouldn’t pass unmentioned. Skip ahead to 3:44 for the key bit. In lieu of repeating the points about WTC7 that I made the last time a Fox News/Business host started Just Askin’ Questions about 9/11, let me ask: Precisely how many of these people does Fox have on staff? Am I going to open a newspaper tomorrow and find out that Megyn Kelly or Julie Banderas thinks the Pentagon was hit by a missile? And no, before anyone mentions Beck, he’s not a Truther. Quite the contrary, in fact.

Between this and Ron Paul wondering on the House floor whether the U.S. government might cook up a “contrived Gulf of Tonkin-type incident” to justify war with Iran, I wonder what the demographic breakdown is among Truthers between Bush-hating liberals versus strong-form libertarians whose skepticism of government knows virtually no intellectual limit. Frankly, maybe I’d rather not know. Oh, and yes — that is indeed the one and only Alex Jones whom the Judge is chatting with. Wonderful.

The government obviously lies.

That isn’t at issue. What is at issue is something called proof that would suggest this had actually happened rather than accepting the obvious.

Anyone who even entertains the idea that the WTC attacks were an inside job loses all credibility with me instantaneously. It has all been explained clearly for anyone wishing to seek out how the buildings came down. I’ve never cared much for Napolitano anyway and this just cinches it.

Funny how the same government that supposedly planned, carried out, and kept secret the 9/11 attacks “inside job” for nine years can’t manage to keep secret a mid-level bureaucrat’s opinion of Silvio Berlusconi.

I disagree… I think the very fact that there is a leak at all completely disproves the hypothesis that the government is even capable of such a thing (let alone guilty of it).

MadisonConservative on November 29, 2010 at 7:52 PM

I was on the site a few days after 9/11. WTC7 had several floors which housed a large generator and the diesel fuel for the generator. A fireman I met told me that when the diesel fuel caught fire after the WTC main collapse, they initially had no water to even fight the fire until the Reuben James crew ran hoses from the waterfront. A large open space within a building would create a weak spot in the framework of the building and help with the collapse.
Its either that or Halliburton’s demolition squad.

gordo on November 29, 2010 at 7:52 PM

I’ve never understood this tack… Bush had WTC7 rigged just in case some Muslims decided to fly fuel-laden planes into WTC N&S and just in case they fell near WTC7?

Bee on November 29, 2010 at 7:58 PM

What a jerk off

short of it

when one of the towers went down large amounts of debris blew through the side of 7

there was a large open area mechanical room there and as the debris blew through it took out columns that were holding up huge beams that were carrying the weight of the building above

there were photos that showed the following weakiening structure from the roof where it was slowly failing

it’s sooo simple almost any moron who would open their eyes could understand

apparently you can pass the BAR, become a judge, and still be dumber than a box of rocks

I’m not a violent person, but people who say stuff like that make me want to punch them. Al Qaeda brought down the WTC, nobody else.

It’s enough for me to know that both the Clinton and Bush administrations ignored the escalating series of acts of war by Al Qaeda that culminated in 9/11. That’s Bush laid down the rule that if you’re not with us, you’re on the side of the terrorists. Yet, Iran is about to get nukes and we dither.

Don’t try to make sense of the troofers. Oy, I’ve argued with a few for a couple years…otherwise cool people who are simply deranged about some 9/11 conspiracy. Heck, one said Bush was going to declare martial law, suspend the 2008 elections, etc etc. And don’t get me started on the “colored dots on the mailbox” hilarity.

They figured the best way to destroy the evidence was to fell Building 7. It’s gone, and it’s just “part of the scene”. Why move it, when it’s gotta be destroyed.

JetBoy on November 29, 2010 at 8:09 PM

At some point in my life, I am expecting to hear somewhere by someone that there never was a World Trade Center in New York.
That the Towers never existed in the first place. Gerardo will be 90 years old and find some photographs taken of the NY city skyline hidden in a Pentagon vault discovered in the basement of CBS or something, that shows no Twin Towers. The photographs will be marked “Top Secret- Twin Tower Project.”

It will be the biggest conspiracy theory ever exposed in the history of the world. It will involved thousands of unnamed State Dept workers and military personal posing as everything from fake construction workers to fake tourists and cab drivers. He will have interviews with people in shadow who describe their experience and frustration of trying to find WTC time and time again, only to be met with cabbies who get lost or construction work that blocked their route. It will be a grand conspiracy.

Just to make a small point, maybe no one mentioned this to the judge, but building 7 didn’t “come down by itself” a 110 story building fell on it and ripped off the front half of it and set it on fire, then it fell.

/International Banker conspiracy. Thinking like that gets in the way of TrUtH!1!

amerpundit on November 29, 2010 at 8:08 PM

And don’t get me started on the “colored dots on the mailbox” hilarity.

JetBoy on November 29, 2010 at 8:09 PM
