An Obama Family Anti-Obesity Thanksgiving Dinner
posted at 5:42 pm on November 25, 2010 by Andrew Malcolm
Too many appetizers to bother listing.
Kick-off the main event with:
Turkey
And then some Ham
And a choice of stuffings:
Cornbread Stuffing or
Oyster Stuffing
Or WTH have both.
Then some Greens naturally.
And, of course, Sweet Potatoes.
And it would be anti-American not to have Mashed Potatoes.
And don’t forget the Green Bean Casserole.
Oh, and a mountain of Macaroni and Cheese too.
And, to be polite, unlimited Dinner Rolls.
Now the good part:
Dessert
Since the First Lady has OKd pies for ordinary Americans to consume this day and since, let’s be honest, she’s not doing the baking and neither is her Mom and he’s not doing the dishes, order up a slab of all six pies (6, as in VI):
Apple Pie (Michigan’s a battleground state, you know) and
Pumpkin Pie (it’s patriotic) and
Banana Cream Pie to cleanse the palate for
Cherry Pie and
Huckleberry Pie and
The Main Man’s Fave: Sweet Potato Pie.
Coma to come.
Thank you for your service.
(UPDATE Friday: Working off some of this feast, Obama was playing basketball with friends Friday and caught a new former friend’s elbow in the mouth. 12 stitches. No salt in tonight’s popcorn.)

What should have been served.

Sigh…and the utter stupidity of the guest bloggers keeps rolling on.

Eat something. You know what I mean.

How many are eating at this Thanksgiving dinner? It better be a huge crowd or they are going to have a lot of leftovers.

How I know I have been in the South all my life-people on here who DON’T have baked mac and cheese for T Day??????? And stuffing? Errr, NO. Dressing. Cornbread dressing. And sweet potato casserole, broccoli casserole, pecan pie, greens w/ hocks, mashed taters/gravy, and home grown creamed corn. That’s a real T Day meal.

I wondered upstream if any DC socialites were invited, or is it just the Chi-town thugs?

They could feed the 300,000 homeless (or is it 3 million?) through the weekend with that much food.
Talk about “Let ‘em eat cake!”
They are classless.

May they all have woken up this morning with a upset stomach the size of Mount Everest!

Wow, bet when all that food has been digestive, they’ll be really scooping the poop today!
pilamaye on November 26, 2010 at 8:15 AM
They should have sent the leftovers to Marion Barry. Giants cut him off from delivering turkeys to the “poor” (read bribes to constituents) because he couldnt come up with the full amount of money to pay for them. This would be a great PR move for the WH.

Hey, have some pie, already–maybe it’ll improve your disposition. You don’t come to someone’s home, plop on their couch, put your feet on their furniture and make demands–right? So why come on this blog and throw cheap shots?
I enjoyed this post. Thanks, Andrew.

Will Obama care kick in, after eating like that? Oh…right! The first family is above that kind of health care.
I don’t care if they cook this way, as I’m sure they had plenty of company to join them. IF they didn’t though…the waste that will come from this, is an outright sin!!!
