<blockquote>I like her, but she is not presidential, and it would make Delaware and Nevada look like nailbiters for GOP nominees.</blockquote>

Another concern troll heard from.

Look, if the Republicans nominate Daffy Duck in 2012, they win. Obama is a guaranteed one termer.

Rush Limbaugh has said the Left will tell who they fear. And clearly they fear Sarah Palin more than any other candidate because of the vitriol spewed in her direction. The Left here also includes the Vichy Republicans, the GOP Establishment Old Guard.

Look at how many so-called conservatives went out of their way to spread the false meme that President Bush said Palin wasn't qualified to be President and that he was prepared to endorse Obama because Palin was added to the GOP ticket. Bush himself denited it on El Rushbo's show the other day. It was advanced by more cowardly anonymous GOP staffers and advisers (most like Romney turds, the same ones who did the hatchet job on her from inside the McCain campaign).

I mean I don't have anything against Santorum, but what forces in <strike>the</strike> his universe are telling him he's "The One?" I just don't see why go through the whole Iowa---> the rest of other crap--->to be a POTUS.

I mean he's nice, has been in the rat cave of DC and made it out alive; and he's from PA and all but <em>he's not a leader!</em>

I don't think he'd make a "straw poll" for 2012 or 2016! I have stated over and over how much ticked off I am over these men thinkin' they deserve it and got it but are trying to put Sarah on the side. Now after the elections came out, several of them gave her credit for her Tea Party candidates that won, and her help. Now that's pretty much it.

Let the wolves eat themselves; the hunt is hard, and there are not many prizes to catch. My money's on the bear.

I think most people obviously liked the overall message of the new conservatives. How that plays out as cuts are made remains to be seen.

And Palin will definitely toss her hat in the ring. She's not going to back down simply because some think she should. That's absurd. None of the men do, even though they can't win. Why should she?

I call bull
We just had an election where independents went strongly AGAINST Obama's agenda.
There is NO way, 61 percent have a favorable opinion of him.
This poll was designed to take Palin out of the running.
It's Romney that has the cheap, creepy, fakey politician demeanor.
They (biased Democrats calculating polls) did the same thing with McCain to convince the hordes he was the man to nominate.
Social issues? nope. Neither O or Mac were for gay marriage.and more people are against abortion than for.

It was the Huckabee folks who ran the Miller campaign and blew it. They wanted to keep Palin out, but when they screwed up the campaign, who did they call to help at the last minute?

Palin has survived the ultimate "vetting." The fact that Palin has such a high favorable rating after the MSM has thrown the kitchen sink at her, with falsehoods abounding, tells me she is the one. The MSM made the mistake of unloading on her too much for too long. Now most of what they say falls on deaf ears and only makes her supporters work that much harder. The RINOs have also had to back off everytime a negative comment about her is attributed to them and the only thing they have ruined is their own reputations. I think she is the only potential candidate that could get the very enthusiastic support of Rush, Hannity, Beck and Levin and that is no small matter.
Palin draws crowds without having to bus them in and buy them lunch. She is smart, always stays positive, does not talk over people's heads and has the "gravitas" to be taken very seriously.

Palin is one tough woman and she'd make a great contrast to O - people would finally have a real choice.

Fancy that. A poll comes out showing Palin improving her numbers, and the panicked clowns come out shrieking "she is delusional!", "she is unpatriotic if she runs!", etc.
Same old tired non-sense.

Listen, if "electability" is your primary concern for choosing our nominee, then by all means follow that logic to its natural conclusion per poll references above:

Nominate Huckabee

Oh, you say don't want Huckabee? Well, I guess your "electability" argument only applies to candidates you like. Yeah, that makes us really value your "insights" /s

I can easily argue that Romney is unelectable (anti-mormon sentiment) or that Gingrich is unelectable (thrice married) or that Daniels is unelectable (short, bald, tax-hiker with the charisma of a napkin). But I am really not worried about either of them winning the nomination, so why waste my time.

Palin will run, and she is likely to win the nomination in my opinion. If you disagree, your time is probably better spent arguing why YOUR candidate is better rather than spout nonsense which only solidifies her support.

Sarah Palin is still a young woman. Her favorable numbers might be too low right now for a national presidential bid, but that does not mean she can't eventually over come that.

I think that her biggest obstacle with a lot of people is her leaving the Governorship of AK and then moving onto the national spot light. But I also think that as time passes that will not be as big a deal.

But there are a lot of people who will never accept her, just because of what she represents to them...and of course that in and of itself makes her supporters even more loyal.

I will say one thing however, it would be a mistake to underestimate her.

<blockquote>Fun punditry, but at current conditions there’s no way she challenges him because she’d just lose to the Republican. That fight would be way nastier than the 2008 primary and would weaken them both considerably. She’ll be the good soldier until she resigns and then be a private person until she sees a good time to get back into politics.

Re Hillary, she just doesn't have the time. Her political clock is ticking and by 2016 her age will be used against her.

I also don't think the progressive movement would think twice about throwing Bammie under the bus for the sake of the cause. If they decide he's a certain loser for 2012, why not roll the dice? The black vote? Where are they going to go? The progressive movement is run by whites, they have no inherent loyalty to the plantation voters.
