That’s dead wrong. When Ventura was in the UDT the SEALs existed. Indeed they existed for 7 and half years before he went into the Navy and for about 8 years after left, so the idea that he was claiming to be something that the UDT eventually became is nonsense. The SEALs were the SEALs when he was in. Had he wanted to be a SEAL he could have requested a transfer and probably have been waivered in within a week on a 6 month probationary period. Indeed, since the SEALs were taking such high casualties in Vietnam they were routinely putting the word out for replacements. For whatever reason, he didn’t. He was never on a SEAL team.

While Janos/Ventura was in UDT-12 they lost 1 man to a training accident. During the same period SEAL Team One lost 34 men to combat in Vietnam. So no, anyone honorable would not try to blur the distinction.

Ventura has proven himself to be a liar and a fraud and someone who makes his money trashing the United States. That is bad enough, but he does it while trading off the sacrifice and valor of better men when he constantly lies about his service record to give himself legitimacy. As a former officer in the USN that is certainly enough to warrant my “antagonism”.

I’m still stunned that Joy even has her own show on CNN. Did the CNN execs just throw darts at a board at that one? What celeb will CNN not give a show to? Was Margret Cho busy? Wanda Sykes? Why doesn’t Kathy Griffin have her own show–she is (or was) in just about everything? Any of them would be just as qualified for that spot as Joy…

I can’t fathom why CNN gave her her own show because it’s nothing but a vacuum for her in which she can safely vent her nonsense; I have never seen the ratings but I can’t imagine she has much of an audience. She is always scowling and looking bored/annoyed/impatient on “The View.” I don’t know why or how she has lasted this long. Since Muslims threatened to kill anyone who said anything negative and suggested that Christianity is the root of all evil.

This is just a replay of what happened in Europe. The left pissed in their pants and suddenly it became “offensive” to talk factually about Islam. Islam, which has contributed absolutely nothing to the planet but spilled blood is now held in high regard by scared, stupid people.
