Unbelievable: Behar rips O’Reilly’s 9/11 “hate speech” — while sitting next to Truther Jesse Ventura

posted at 9:49 pm on October 14, 2010 by Allahpundit

So it turns out my post this afternoon about Behar’s limitless tolerance of Rosie “Fire can’t melt steel” O’Donnell was actually just the set-up to a joke. Now comes the punchline: Not only does Joy have a stronger stomach for Trutherism than for O’Reilly’s outrageously outrageous reminder that the hijackers were Muslim, she’s willing to prove it by sitting down with one of America’s most famous Truthers on the very day that she staged her walkout. And not only that, but Ventura actually reminds her here that he’s a Truther (of the “just asking questions” variety, to be sure) — and she doesn’t bat an eye. So not only is she petulant, unprofessional, and soft on conspiracy theorists, she’s happy to flaunt it on all three counts. Remember that the next time you catch some big-media personality slobbering over “serious journalist” Barbara Walters. There’s a galaxy of liberal women who’d be ready, willing, and able to fill the left-wing role on “The View,” yet this is the star on whom Barbara’s fixed her telescope. Wonderful.

Stick with it all the way for Ventura’s apparent theory that if something is constitutional, it’s above criticism. Below that you’ll find Laura Ingraham’s chat with O’Reilly on tonight’s Factor revisiting some of Behar’s own greatest anti-Christian hits. She does a nice job, but I’m honestly amazed that neither of them went after Joy from the Rosie/Truther angle.

Put a dress and lipstick on her won’t change the fact that Ms. Behar is still a pig.

When she was in radio she bemoaned the fact that other people got regular shows and they hadn’t “put in their time”. Low class is low class and she has no class. The View would probably get more viewers if they dumped the pig.

Assuming Jesse was pre-booked to tout his new season of paranoid conspiracy theories TV show (he was making loopy comments on Larry King Wednesday night), than Joy’s an even bigger moron for storming off the set today over O’Reilly’s remarks.

Protesting O’Reilly over him saying Muslims brought down the WTC and then going on with the most high-profile 9/11 Truther in the country pretty much is just asking to be lumped with Jesse in the public’s mind, whether Behar likes it or not. And it’s not as if she can just let tonight’s HLN show slide, because you know the mosque topic is going to come up again on “The View” on Friday morning.

Rosie “Fire can’t melt steel” O’Donnell

She has a point.

Also, there is the Titanic Conspiracy where we all know that metal is much stronger than ice. So it is impossible for an iceberg to sink such a huge ship.

Don’t believe me? Then take a look at this video that has been around for a few years. The test done is this video almost conclusively prove that the sinking of the Titanic was a hoax.

In one of the tests the conspirator puts a plate of ice and a plate of metal side by side at room temperature. You can clearly see that the ice melts and the metal hardly melted at all.

FROM CMI:

Behar may not have said anything condemning Baldwin specifically, but numerous examples in Behar’s recent past have revealed her less-than-saintly disposition towards Christians and their faith. On the June 22 episode of “The View,” she said prayer “takes the place of thinking,” called it “illogical.”

Behar has also had a penchant for portraying Christians – especially those in politics –negatively. On May 12, Behar attacked Sarah Palin, an outspoken Christian, when she told The Daily Beast’s Kevin Sessums that she would “never forgive John McCain for foisting Sarah Palin” on America. Behar even took a stab at Todd Palin, calling him a “bum” for being a stay-at-home dad on her “Headline News” program last November.

Just last April, Behar compared the prayers of former President George W. Bush to a terrorist’s Muslim prayers to Allah. Behar even provoked those in her own Catholic faith when she suggested in January of 2008 that Catholic saints were mentally ill.

Joy Behar is bigoted in regards to Christians.

Right on target Allah.

I tuned into O’Rielly just to see what his breakdown was. He nor Laura mentioned the fact that the View girls have no problems hanging out with truthers.
Your point was strong and this was a missed opportunity to really expose their hypocrisy and ignorance.

It seems the biggest take away from this estrogen version of Jerry Springer was the immature walk out by the “rape-rape” girl and her truther friend.
I was glad to see the audience give O’Reilly a pretty good bit of applause several times during this bit#h fest.
Especially when he shot down Behar with the 70% of Americans don’t want the Mosque at ground zero.

Overall a typical, everyday new low reached by the “adults”.

Tony Soprano on October 14, 2010 at 10:45 PM

Sorry for the repeat, but it makes my blood boil whenever I watch him lie. Ventura was not a SEAL. He was in UDT-12 based in the Philippines. His only claim to be a US Navy SEAL is that 8 years after he had left the Navy Underwater Demolition Teams were dissolved and some of the UDT Frogmen became SEALs. There is no shame in being a frogman, the shame comes in lying about it. Just as there is no shame in serving the country without ever seeing combat, the shame is in lying about it, which he has repeatedly.

Jesse Ventura makes me sick.

Just in the video above he claimed to be a SEAL. He does every time someone puts a camera lens on him. He also claimed to have “hunted men” when in vietnam and also that he had to quit wrestling because of being exposed to agent orange… (as it sailed by on a ship)
If you have known him for decades tell him that there are lots of sailors who are disgusted by his performance and that calling the USA a ‘terrorist nation” with an unearned Trident on his chest is absolutely disgusting.

I should have known Bette Midler would be hateful…..I mean she’s a Middle aged bitter woman and quite unattractive.

Are all Democrat/Progressive women, ugly, bitter, mean, look like they’ve had at least one abortion, and hate Sarah Palin and attractive other “Mamma Grizzlies”?

I mean, I’m starting to think there are NO ATTRACTIVE LIBERAL WOMEN…..WHERE ARE THEY?

(And the reason it’s an issue is because at the core of Progressivism is a hatred for anything that reminds them of God, and they are in full rejection of the God of the founders.)

These gals, spew vile hatred towards anything remotely that reminds them of Judeo-Christian values. They hate Palin because she didn’t “mercy kill” Trig. They hate Michelle Bachmann, they hate COD, they hate Coulter and now……….I read the other day that apparently “women” have a problem with the McMahon gal in Conn. senate race!!!!

Ann Coulter has said that women shouldn’t be allowed to vote and I’m starting to wonder (not that men are perfect voters either). What would this country be like if Woodrow Wilson hadn’t gotten through the womens’ right to vote?

Honestly, the cast of The View is composed of nitwits. I’m sure their “conservative” is a nice person, but the intellectual weight of the group has all the weight of a whipped marshmallow topping — and they aren’t nearly as appetizing to look at.

Some of the most hateful rhetoric in the media today comes from “comics” like Behar and Kathy Griffin, who can only be “funny” when attacking or belittling others. They should take some lessons from Lucille Ball, Imogene Coco, or Carol Burnett, women who managed to be great comics without ever being nasty or mean-spirited. They will be remembered and celebrated forever, the likes of Behar and Griffith will deservedly disappear into the Land of Obscurity once no one gives them air time. And just how does America teach its children the hateful, negative effects of bullying when we as a society do not turn away from the vile, bullying behavior of the likes of “comediane” Behar?

Since Muslims threatened to kill anyone who said anything negative and suggested that Christianity is the root of all evil.

This is just a replay of what happened in Europe. The left pissed in their pants and suddenly it became “offensive” to talk factually about Islam. Islam, which has contributed absolutely nothing to the planet but spilled blood is now held in high regard by scared, stupid people.

Joyless Behar is the original barking moonbat. I can’t fathom why CNN gave her her own show because it’s nothing but a vacuum for her in which she can safely vent her nonsense; I have never seen the ratings but I can’t imagine she has much of an audience. She is always scowling and looking bored/annoyed/impatient on “The View.” I don’t know why or how she has lasted this long. Oh, and another fun fact: walking out of the room is a good passive-aggressive way to admit that you have no argument. Then again, now I’m just stating the obvious…

I’m still stunned that Joy even has her own show on CNN. Did the CNN execs just throw darts at a board at that one? What celeb will CNN not give a show to? Was Margret Cho busy? Wanda Sykes? maverick muse on October 15, 2010 at 3:48 PM

That’s dead wrong. When Ventura was in the UDT the SEALs existed. Indeed they existed for 7 and half years before he went into the Navy and for about 8 years after left, so the idea that he was claiming to be something that the UDT eventually became is nonsense. The SEALs were the SEALs when he was in. Had he wanted to be a SEAL he could have requested a transfer and probably have been waivered in within a week on a 6 month probationary period. Indeed, since the SEALs were taking such high casualties in Vietnam they were routinely putting the word out for replacements. For whatever reason, he didn’t. He was never on a SEAL team.

While Janos/Ventura was in UDT-12 they lost 1 man to a training accident. During the same period SEAL Team One lost 34 men to combat in Vietnam. So no, anyone honorable would not try to blur the distinction.

Ventura has proven himself to be a liar and a fraud and someone who makes his money trashing the United States. That is bad enough, but he does it while trading off the sacrifice and valor of better men when he constantly lies about his service record to give himself legitimacy. As a former officer in the USN that is certainly enough to warrant my “antagonism”.
