Poll: What was the Obamateurism of the Week?

posted at 9:00 am on September 12, 2010 by Ed Morrissey

It’s time for you all to quit dogging it and cast your vote for this week’s Obamateurism of the Week!  I had considered recycling last week’s intro, but that would ignore the 54,000 four gaffes we gained this week.  Just remember, you can vote from whatever state you happen to be in, as long as you remember which great state it is.

Previous 2010 “winners”:

Got an Obamateurism of the Day? If you see a foul-up by Barack Obama, e-mail it to me at obamaisms@edmorrissey.com with the quote and the link to the Obamateurism. I’ll post the best Obamateurisms on a daily basis, depending on how many I receive. Include a link to your blog, and I’ll give some link love as well. And unlike Slate, I promise to end the feature when Barack Obama leaves office.

Illustrations by Chris Muir of Day by Day. Be sure to read the adventures of Sam, Zed, Damon, and Jan every day!

When Hussain calls himself a dog,
is he telling us something about his missus too ?

Let’s just say that, as applies to her, fetching will always be a verb, never an adjective.

“They talk about me like a dog!”

This option should mention that Obama attacked Bush for the 100,000th time in this same speach!

I would prefer he channel the Hendrix cover “All Along the Watchtower” and say, “There must be some kind of way out of here.”

I guess Bite Me would be the Joker and The Dog would be the Thief.

♫♪ I saw a werewolf with a health plan in his hand
walkin through the streets of D.C. in the rain.
He was lookin for the place called Hopey-Change,
gonna get him a dish of Shrimp Octane.

Chorus:
Aaahoo, werewolves of Chi-town
Aaahoo

Aaahoo, werewolves of Chi-town
Aaahoooooooooo. ♪♫

Doesn’t matter what dog he is as long as he’s neutered in November.
