The One and a Half?
Rocks on September 9, 2010 at 10:44 PM
23 minutes? I’ll pencil it in after the game.
El_Terrible on September 9, 2010 at 10:44 PM
We need a male president with large, floppy breasts.
It’s our only hope.
rickyricardo on September 9, 2010 at 10:46 PM
Christie makes fat look very, very sexy.
bloghooligan on September 9, 2010 at 10:48 PM
the troopers that protect this guy LOVE him. you can quote me on that.

Seven Percent Solution on September 9, 2010 at 10:53 PM
I’ve always been attracted to men who looked like they would look at you and say something like “you know, I don’t want to kick your ass, but keep pushin…”.
Christie looks like that kind of man. Less talk, more action, no apologies. That’s not only sexy, but super effin sexy.
Obama on the other hand reminded me of that guy with the jherri curl in Coming to America, who ran and hid when Samual L cam into MacDowells with the sawed off.
bloghooligan on September 9, 2010 at 10:53 PM
His endorsement of Castle ruined it for me. Sorry.
takeamericabackin10 on September 9, 2010 at 10:55 PM
Da-mn! I don’t care, Christie’s still the man!
orfannkyl on September 9, 2010 at 10:57 PM
As a New Jerseyan, I voted for him and love him….but his endorsement of Castle scares me. Unionbusting….great, fiscally….great, just not sure we can totally count on him to be solid conservative. For God’s sake, it still is NJ.
Dan Pet on September 9, 2010 at 10:58 PM
Castle, immigration, and GZM knocked him down a ways for me… still too soon for him anyway.
davek70 on September 9, 2010 at 10:59 PM
When he stood shoulder to shoulder with Castle and called him a conservative, he instantly lost all credibility with me.

Ron Paul 2012

I liked the part with the horses and the fireworks.
The rest of it was good too.

Mark my words:
This man will be President one day.
You-Eh-Vee on September 9, 2010 at 11:05 PM
A foul smell is in the air……………………
they thought the Elephants were in decline……..
but,like any jackass’s,Donkey’s over-estimated…..
they thought they slewed the Conservative movement….
but a sh*t spark,was in the air……………
and the Political air is dense with Democrat fuel…
then…..Christie dropped a political fuel/air gizmo….
and it lit up Corzi’s 30 million bucks up in smoke……
and called Chris Christie,basically,”Fat B*stard”…….
the Sh*t Storm was beginning to stir………
Corzines record was scrutenized…………
and the Sh*t winds blew in Christies favour……….
then,it broke out across the Leftoid spectrum MSM…..
Chris Christie won the Governor of New Jersey…….
and….it blew into a Category #5 Sh*t Hurricane……
which then,covered the disbelievers,pundits,pollsters,
and MSM Operatives……..
the Sh*t Hurricane was in full blown mode……….
the teacher unions tried to attack Christie…but Chris’s
calculated comebacks…blew those unions back, where they
belong…….
…the Teacher Union attacked Christie and wished him dead……
to no avail….the Sh*t Storm was still rageing……
..even past the Fourth of July…………

CWforFreedom on September 9, 2010 at 11:06 PM
Yes, Davek70. I agree. Too early. He would make a great Attorney General though for a corruption busting president. With his corruption busting as a prosecutor…would be a great combo.
Dan Pet on September 9, 2010 at 11:09 PM
Nice guy. Not conservative.
faraway on September 9, 2010 at 11:09 PM
Sure, I love the guy.
But the timing is just AP’s naked plug for Castle.
Boooooooo.
Saltysam on September 9, 2010 at 11:09 PM
The RGA rocks.
publiuspen on September 9, 2010 at 11:10 PM
While I believe what Christie has done is to take the battle to the Teacher’s Union is very smart, it is still going to be difficult to keep the teachers out of the battle. How he maintains the offensive will be to increase his credibility in fiscal responsibility, and remain honest.
Rode Werk on September 9, 2010 at 11:12 PM
The Castle thing, I can live with. The GZM stance leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But it was the use of “comprehensive immigration reform” that was the deal breaker for me. Those code words mean one thing: amnesty. No thanks.

The GOP sure is desperate. Christie has done a few great things and suddenly he’s the next Obama. That demi-god thing’s working out swell. And Christie’s been a gov how long?
Pretty sure NJ needs him to stay there and fix the state instead of being an absent governor running a national campaign.
conservative pilgrim on September 9, 2010 at 11:20 PM
Me too.
He is pretty much dead to me as potential national candidate.

THAT WAS THE MOST AWESOME REPUBLICAN VIDEO MESSAGE I HAVE EVER SEEN. THAT WAS AWESOME. My wife and I laughed and agreed when Rush said, “Is it wrong to love another man.”, because we both love GovCC (C), but it’s really about this incredible man that seems to have the Republican/Conservative message down to a tee. Okay, I didn’t like his BS recommendation in Delaware, but it WAS low key and I think it might have been due to a compromise deal. Even Jesus had a bad day or two that he would have liked to have been less remembered. Like kicking butt on those money-changers. What’s NOT awesome about that. I know Jesus was out of character but dang, arseholes and elbows!

Aquateen Hungerforce on September 9, 2010 at 11:29 PM
OMG. Game over. One of first ads on tv was from Meg Whitman. It was brutal. It was a clip of Clinton vs Jerry Brown in a debate where Clinton gave brown a whooping. Wow.

@Dire Straights, @John the Libertarian—
I like Favre. But he isn’t moving well. He got decent protection tonight, but one hit and he’s toast. He looked winded too.
The Saints looked impressive.

Okay I watched randomly… the last two minutes was worth watching I think.
As a leader of this party Christie is what we have been looking for. It’s too bad he doesn’t have more experience and could run for President in 2012. Or at least he should focus on actually sticking with his plan for New Jersey until he turns things around.
He has that really direct East Coast way about him that can seem pretty mean to us in the West.
But he may be the one.

And in a very good way.

DUDE. Sending money to the RGA now. Keep it up, folks!
I gotta say that Christie in a well-lit video with high production values is somehow not as cool as Christie kicking arse on someone’s camera phone. If we can get a Nicki Haley under those lights and in front of those expensive cameras, however…. GOLD.
At least the Repubs have finally started hiring people who have actually, you know, touched a camera before.

There is a young man named Timmy Teepel. Bobby Jindal found him and he will be a rock star. He is Bobby’s Chief of Staff. He is currently on a leave of absence, working for the RGA/Haley Barbour. His dad is brilliant and works for a big Advertising agency. With this young mans talent, Haley Barbour’s experience and the RGA’s money, the next 26 months are going to be VERY interesting.
One big note: Bobby Jindal has loaned his chief of staff to Haley Barbour who plans to run against Obama in 2012. That is a HUGE amount of cooperation for someone who had his own shot in 2016.
barnone on September 10, 2010 at 12:39 AM
He’s a shill for the national Republican Establishment. They have been releasing negative material on O’Donnell to reporters on the sly. As he’s not running in 2012, they used him to prop up Castle. Another GOP puppet. But no Christie now, ever.
csThor on September 10, 2010 at 12:42 AM
You know, that speaks volumes to me right there. It reminds me of the tales I read about how various POTUSs (“PsOTUS?”) treated the Secret Service (e.g., Bush being decent enough to make sure the guys had a chance to eat, and Clinton treating them like the equivalent of the towel tied to the dorm-room doorknob).
Speaks to the character of a guy in ways that dueling policy stances leave unilluminated.
I like him markedly more, if what you say is true…floppy moobs and all!
Noocyte on September 10, 2010 at 12:44 AM
Your gotta worry about anyone who is Morning Joe’s favourite Republican.
csThor on September 10, 2010 at 12:47 AM
Trying to rehabilitate Christie after his FAIL on the GSM, are we? Not going to happen until he backtracks. For a guy who doesn’t like “escape hatches” he sure hemmed and hawed and eventually came out on the wrong side.
