A cross between a Bull Terrier and a ShitZu masquerading as a President found a Doctor’s white lab coat which had been left out in the sun to dry. He put it on and spoke to his countrymen. All bowed, both men and women, and he was a proud cross between a Bull Terrier and a ShitZu that day. In his delight he lifted up his voice and barked incoherently and then every one knew him for what he really was.

The Beatles did not sit on their sound and try to ride it out.
They were always evolving and taking chances.
Helter Skelter was chaotic but flowed well.
The whole White Album was such a great combination of folk…rock…and melody from cover to cover.
From Help!….to Sgt. Peppers…all the way to the White album, was an incredible journey with major distinctions between them.
You are right…a very powerful song on a very diverse album.
Great link. So sad seeing John Denver hosting that, though. What a loss of talent.
