Ed Schultz: I could draw 300,000 people to the Mall like Beck did

posted at 9:05 pm on August 31, 2010 by Allahpundit

Remember, this is the same guy who allegedly threw a nuclear tantrum a few weeks ago because he wasn’t big enough shakes to make it into an MSNBC promo. And yet … isn’t he right about the unions? Surely, my friends, there are enough Obama-crony labor leaders in America to order 300,000 long-suffering dues-payers to the Mall to hear Ed Schultz unleash the voices in his head. If the Secretary of Education is willing to stoop to something like that, why wouldn’t Richard Trumka? Imagine the magnificent sea of purple t-shirts in front of the Washington Monument. Edstock — sponsored by SEIU.

The best part here? The self-reassuring, ever so slightly frantic repetition of “I know I could!” Exit question: Why doesn’t he do it then? Click the image to listen.

Ed’s 56 he appears to be suffering from the dreaded Mel Gibson syndrome.

Ed isn’t exactly babe bait if you know what I mean, and it looks like he is a talker so that’s two strikes right there….I mean if your a woman it’s easy to watch Sheppard Smith with the mute button on…just sayin. The mute button’s not working for Ed :)

only represented by around 2 to 5 percent of the patriots,
just my opinion!

So,there were million’s of Americans that couldn’t be there,

What’s extremely funny to me is that now that people on the left who have ridiculed and mocked Beck all these years suddenly realize after last weekend that he does indeed have a huge following, much more so than they could have imagined. It makes them look silly after marginalizing him for so long. So, what to do about that? Write a column to cash in on his fame, ride his coat tails. They’re so pathetic. Cashing in one someone you’ve criticized for years is cheap and tawdry. Just take a look at Huffpo and the number of “journalists” who have taken it upon themselves to “analyze” the weekend’s event.

These leftists seem really disappointed that the country isn’t full of racists!

Why in the world would the left be rooting for a “hate pit” on the National Mall? What is wrong with these people?

And don’t these guys remind you of the stereotypical evil villains?

I watched that clip about lifting his leg on FOX…I feel like I’m watching Batman or something. They are cartoon evil!

And I’m not sure paying union wages for people to show up on the National Mall is quite the same thing…

petunia on August 31, 2010 at 10:17 PM

Why are these guys so putrid, evil, vile, and filled with hate? 300,000? Do that many even know who he is??? What a jerk…..

chai on August 31, 2010 at 10:20 PM

He couldn’t draw 300,000 flies to his program. But, if he believes it, then he should put his money where his big mouth is. He gets eight months like Beck had eight months to plan.
So April 2011, he puts on a rally. If less than 300,000 appear for his rally, he hangs up his microphone permanently and goes off the air, out of journalism, out of blogging, out of the media permanently.

eaglewingz08 on August 31, 2010 at 10:21 PM

Glenn Beck is right – we’ve won. It’s just going to be a matter of time before these nasty, negative, lying people self-implode.

It must suck to be in your head, Ed.

Ed Who????

oped01 on August 31, 2010 at 10:47 PM

Hmmmm.

If America awoke one fine morning to the sight of hundreds of thousands of purple shirted SEIU members on the Washington Mall they would …

1. Wonder why the hell there are so many useless government drones.

2. Wonder why they aren’t at work.

3. Wonder if it is possible to fire them all.

Maybe progressives will wax eloquent, or whatever passes for it on the Left, but I seriously doubt the American public would be impressed and it is far more likely to generate a very hostile response.

Ed Schultz only draws the people living in his head using his crayolas on the walls of his padded room.

He has eaten most of the box of 64, leaving only the various shades of red, because he hates the red ones.

Heck, even if you don’t get the $5.500000.10 million for the “free health clinics”, you will get something!

Follow that up with free drugs, America bashing songs and burning effigies of US SOLDIERS……and having a bonfire of American Flags…..and have hundreds of MINISTERS marry people with animals..THIS is the Ed Schulz left.

Schultz and Kweefe Oblerman can have a “2010 Meltdown / Tantrum Rally” in front of the Lincoln Memorial.

All attendees must sit on the steps, looking up at the twin narcissists.

All 4 people attending the rally will have a perfect view of the “bonfire of the vanities”.
