The Ed Morrissey Show, live from the State Fair!

posted at 9:00 am on August 30, 2010 by Ed Morrissey

he Ed Morrissey Show continues its special Minnesota State Fair editions today, going two hours from 10-noon ET/9-11 CT live from Dan Patch Avenue at the Great Minnesota Get-Together!  We have a great lineup of guests for the show today.  Laura Brod, our newest Green Room addition and current state representative in the Minnesota Legislature, makes the first of two appearances this week.  We’ll talk about the importance of the legislative elections in November and fill people in on key races, and we’ll also discuss Laura’s essay on the “glass box” and feminism.

In the second hour, Jim Holland from Ford Motors will join us by phone to discuss the company’s success without a government intervention.  After, we’ll interview Randy Demmer, running in Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District against incumbent Democrat Tim Walz.  We’ll also take your calls throughout the show at 651-289-4488!

If you’re in the Twin Cities, the show will broadcast over AM 1280 The Patriot.  If not, we’ll stream it live through Hot Air, with video and chat, on the permanent TEMS page.

Ed, come down to Dallas for the State Fair of Texas (runs from Sept. 24th through Oct. 17th), and try the Fried Beer, and the Fried Frozen Margarita – they’re new this year.
