NARN, the State Fair Edition #1!

posted at 8:38 am on August 28, 2010 by Ed Morrissey

The Northern Alliance Radio Network will be on the air today, with our eight-hour-long broadcast schedule starting at 9 am CT. If you’re in the Twin Cities, you can hear us on AM 1280 The Patriot, or on the station’s Internet stream if you’re outside of the broadcast area.

Today, Mitch and I broadcast live from the Minnesota State Fair, and we have plenty to discuss. First, our friends Duane Patterson and Hugh Hewitt may join us, if John and Brian don’t send them to the first-aid tent after the scotch-egg eating contest.  Tom Emmer will make an appearance in the second hour to talk about his campaign for governor, and in the first hour we’ll talk with Dan Severson, who will challenge Mark Ritchie for Secretary of State.  We’ll also take your calls and questions either live at the fair or on the phone at 651-289-4488, so be sure to join us for all of the fun!

Mitch and I now live-stream our show from 1-3 pm CT on Ustream, complete with live chat, which can be seen on the permanent Ed Morrissey Show page at Hot Air. Be sure to register for free at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions. (And if the log-in prompt doesn’t come up in the chat box below, use this link instead.)

I sure miss the MN state fair. Especially deep fried snickers. The state fair out here in Cali (Sacramento) sucks.

Radio on a stick? Only if it’s deep-fried, my friend!

I missed the show today, but Ed can be a “canned ham on a stick” sometimes. LOL It’s nice to see someone who really really loves his job.
