Reason #486 for why liberals are stupid: Jon Stewart is considered funny.

Sitting through a Stewart routine reminds me of SNL at its worst.

Ehh, he used to be funny. I used to watch him in the early to mid 00′s and I thought he was very funny then. But I kind of got out of the habit a few years ago and only ended up watching a few episodes earlier this year. Man that wasn’t funny.(The audience laughed but I had no idea why they laughed. I mean besides the “laugh” sign they must have.) It is like SNL, it’s only inertia that keeps people watch. (BTW, when you’re pushing 50 you’re no longer “hip” or “edgy”)

No, I think it’s possible. However, it’s just like how Obama has played the R card. If overused, it quickly becomes irrelevant.

Black on White racism is acceptable
White on Black racism is Intolerable

To this day, I have family members who are very racist to whites and see nothing wrong with it. I correct them constantly. Racism is Racism, no matter what color of the person who spews it.

To the liberal mind black on white racism is not “acceptable”, it is impossible. To liberals, black Americans are a subset of Americans and something lesser than Americans. Why? Because, after all the death and misery, the changes to the constitution and our laws, the efforts of MLK to work for equal justice, black Americans are still victims of white racial injustice and always will be. As perpetual victims they cannot be seen as equal to whites and need the state to prop them up. Equality requires no propping-up of either party. So, in their forever victim status, black Americans are incapable of victimizing others and thus, powerless, can never be racist. Now scoot on back to that liberal plantation and stop making such uppity comments.

Jon Stewart is probably the most honest “journalist” on TV right now. If I didn’t have HA I would watch his show for the news.

the combination of hilarity, edginess, wit and self-deprecation makes a clip of JS worth watching. I don’t know why BOR thinks he’s the Factor is the dominating analog to the Daily Show. I got the impression BOR thinks himself the right wing equal, by nature of his ratings, to JS. Stewart is far braver and courageous to hit people between the eyes and make it count than BOR is, moreover, Stewart is funny. He’s a leftist, but he’s a funny leftist.

So the lesson you want us to learn is that redemption is a joke and that people should never ever admit to a moral failing in public even if they corrected it decades before admitting it?

Um. No. More like, “If somebody says they’ve changed their ways, then you observe their behavior, and if their behavior hasn’t changed, then you know they haven’t changed their ways.”

The rest of Sherrod’s comments at the NAACP dinner showed that she clearly was still seeing the world through a biased, racist prism. Her protestations that she’d “seen the light” were rendered worthless at that point.

Nobody should have ever apologized to this obviously bigoted woman. She was never any kind of a “victim.” Anyone who swallows that idea is a fool.

Jon Stewart looks like he’s ready for Obama’s Uncle Sam photo-shoot. Any idea when the upcoming “taxes are patriotic” media blitz will begin?

They’re still trying to figure out how to make the “Uncle Sam wants YOUR money.” slogan more appealing to the masses.

The reason the left, or more correctly Obama wants Sherrod to go away is so the press won’t dig into the $13 million settlement DOJ Holder gave her and her group for the alleged discrimination that must have occurred cuz Reagan canceled the Civil Rights department of the USDA.

Why the USDA needs a Civil Rights department is unknown.
But you and I just paid out $13 million cuz Obama/Holder said so.

Then they appointed her director of Rural Development with the USDA in Georgia.
