Quote of the Day
posted at 10:16 pm on July 11, 2010 by Ed Morrissey
Calls to protest Arizona’s tough illegal-immigration law fell flat in Boston yesterday as barely 400 people rallied in opposition to Gov. Jan Brewer and her policy to use ID checks to arrest illegals.
Organizers had predicted the gathering would draw thousands, but less than 400 people – some of them counter-protesters – showed up for the Copley Square rally. …
A fiery Steve Kirschbaum, a member of United Steeworkers Local 8751, called the law “scumbag, racist and fascist.”
“Our numbers may be small, but we speak for millions,” he said. (via Jules Crittenden)

Small but loud! Small mans disease from a Union thug who is too dumb to understand the illegals will take their jobs if they get 1/2 a chance. Bring in millions of illegals then try your next strike for outrageous pay and benefits walla lots of employed illegals and lots of unemployed union thug morons!

Union thug doesn’t work, except maybe on grievances or playing golf with the ties. He doesn’t care if illegals take the jobs of the membership, so long as the illegals pay union dues.

It is not a tough illegal-immigration law. It is, in fact, a rather mild one.
“Fiery”? So is that what screeching Brownshirts are called in Massachusetts? How quaint.

That name calling steelworker better watch for his job. A illegal may take his job for lot less money and then what would he think? These union dunces can’t see past their noses. Wonder if he would call an illegal fascist if he replaced his steel job?

BTW, the lawsuit was the absolute stupidest move the Obama administration could have ever made…
1. It will be an absolute huge issue this election year… every Democrat running for a state office will have to answer for the Justice Department’s stupidity…
2. The lawsuit is extremely weak…
3. They didn’t wait to see how effective or ineffective it is… so the PR is all about the feds bullying Arizona…
The Republican policy should be the Arizona is a special case for a border state and that the Arizona law is NOT NEEDED EVERYWHERE… but every Republican should affirm Arizona’s right to do what they need to do…
ninjapirate on July 11, 2010 at 10:29 PM
Easy for Steve to talk all that trash (which he knows is BS). He is in a field protected by state laws and the only way any immigrant will ever get a union job is when the federal courts raise the hiring quotas for minorities.

I’m sort of disappointed – I thought George Will deserved quotes of the day today. When Ruth Marcus criticized Sarah Palin’s “mama grizzly” video as “vapid”, Will said “Listen, the height of vapidness is ‘We are the ones we have been waiting for.’ ”
Earlier this happened:

Jan walked into the valley
With her duty and the truth clutched in her hand
She was only a girl, but she knew
Someone must take a stand
There will always be a valley
Always mountains someone must scale
There will always be perilous waters
Which someone must sail
Into darkness, into danger
Into storms that rip the night
Never give in, never give up
But give thanks that you can the invaders fight!
Someone has to face the valley
Rush in, you have to rally and win, Arizonians
When the Child Emperor and his thugs are saying not to
By God, you know you’ve got to march on, Arizonians
Never hold back your step for a moment
Never doubt that your courage will grow
Yes, it’s higher and higher
And into the fight against the invaders and the tyrant most foul you go!

I think I have a solution to the ileegal alien problem. It will make the unions, laraza, dems as well as AZ happy.
Here is what we do :
1. Let AZ implement SB 1070
2. Let AZ hand over illegals to ICE
3. Once the ICE / feds have the illegals,
transport them to whichever city wants them, San Fransisco, Chicago, Hawaii, New York, LA etc.
4. Give union jobs to illegals, and put the rest of them on welfare.
Now what am I missing here ?

The assault against Arizona by Obama, Holder, The Clintons, and so many others, The US DoJ, and on and on, is an outrage, a miscarriage of justice, a vile, hate filled act of discrimination, political correctness, racism, bigotry, ignorance, and an atrocity!
Frankly, I am so put off by those I mentioned above and their malevolence that if I wake up tomorrow and those hate mongering, violence fomenting, prejudicial, racist propaganda merchants who are attacking US citizens and US states, crapping on US immigration laws and the Constitution, and attacking those who try to uphold the immigraiton laws in order to serve and protect their citizens, and spitting in all our faces, not just that of Arizona, if tomorrow they no longer exist it will be good for the USA!

‘Tis no reason why their assault on Americans
Should ever be forgiven, nor forgot
All you tyrants who lord over us
You who give us the smack of your rod
Soon now we will rend you to bits
We will give you the Judgment of God!
If each righteous man and woman does what they must
The overreaching tyrants and their thugs will be turned into dust
Soon now our Lady of Justice will possess them in her breathtaking, hair-raising bed
She will tingle each spine as she captures each head!

The Drudge headline links to a NYT piece, where the Dem governors in private talks with the WH call the AZ lawsuit toxic. Yet New Mexico’s Bill Richardson thinks that the lawsuit is just peachy.
Many of these Dem governors are worried about political fallout in re to their campaigns. Is every decision made by the Dems determined through a political prism? Have they considered what is good for the taxpaying citizens of their own states?
More Cloward-Piven on the WH’s part to generate unrest and collapse the economy at the same time?

As also get welfare / freebies, in any state.
So why do they have to be stuck in AZ ? Let them go where they are desirable and welcome.
There is no need for the feds to be hostile to AZ, and create such strife and chaos. This can be peacefully settled to everyone’s advantage. Unless strife is what the regime is aimong for ..
