Obamateurism of the Day

I wanted to find a pithy way of making Barack Obama’s new mission objectives for NASA — now apparently the National Administration of Self-Esteem Antics — into an OOTD. Fortunately, the two-time Pulitzer Prize winning editorial cartoonist Michael Ramirez encapsulates the utter silliness of mission objectives that have nothing to do with space exploration for an Investors Business Daily cartoon:
This puts Obama’s orders to Charles Bolden in their proper perspective. This is one small step for a bureaucrat, one giant leap backward for NASA.
Got an Obamateurism of the Day? If you see a foul-up by Barack Obama, e-mail it to me at email@example.com with the quote and the link to the Obamateurism. I’ll post the best Obamateurisms on a daily basis, depending on how many I receive. Include a link to your blog, and I’ll give some link love as well. And unlike Slate, I promise to end the feature when Barack Obama leaves office.
