New Jan Brewer ad: Here’s what Obama means by “border security”
posted at 10:09 pm on June 25, 2010 by Allahpundit
Via the Right Scoop, proof positive that Palin’s not the only Republican governor who knows how to spin populist gold out of Obama’s failings. The necessary materials? An extremely popular Arizona immigration law, soon to be challenged by the federal government; freaky deaky reports of parts of the state turning into no man’s land thanks to weak border enforcement; and of course a broken promise by The One to send at least token reinforcements to help out. Weave them all together and voila — you’ve got an incumbent who was struggling three months ago on her way to re-election with 55 percent. Well played, Jan Brewer. Very well played.
Oh, fun fact. Here’s the guy Obama’s tapped to coordinate federal and state immigration enforcement. What could go wrong?

Blowback

Let’s call it the way it is. Obama has no intention of securing the boarder. That would go against his International / Global initiative. This guy is hell bent on re-making this country the way he and allot of very wealthy, very powerful people have designing it. This has been in the works for a long time and they are succeeding. Don’t be surprised when he signs a pardon to all Illegal’s and grants them citizenship.

No offense, but do you realize I’m not? HA doesn’t allow apostrophes in the handles, and since my name requires a possessive apostrophe to make sense, I sign my name the way I wish I could’ve registered. I’m not the only one who does this… letget always signs with a “-l” and, iirc, Mircat signs with “The Cat”.

What is this propensity to call anything that is “popular” populist? The term populist has a very distinct meaning in the political arena. It is not applicable in every situation where a particular view has broad support.
Those who espouse those views are oftentimes not “populists” in the classic sense either. I know plenty of Conservatives who support strict border security but also denounced Obama’s 20 billion dollar extortion of BP, are those people populists? No. Allah, you are sloppy and lazy with your rhetoric.

Go Gov. Brewer . . . coming out of the corner fighting for her state and constituents and not backing down. No political speak, just direct and to the point. Barry missed an opportunity to stick the Recovery Act logo on those signs as proof of “jobs saved or created” with Porkulus.
As for Ms. Brewer, apparently she wasn’t bowled over by Barry’s historic unprecedentedness and expected him to actually follow through with his promise. Patriots like Ms. Brewer and Paul Ryan refuse to stand down to Barry’s federal overreaching and are the vanguard of the approaching salvation of the Republic if we only have the faith to persevere through this coming November and then into 2012.
tpitman on June 26, 2010 at 5:57 AM
Somebody hasn’t been paying attention. This crap has been going on for years now, and it’s not just “reports” of it. The vicious Mexican drug cartels have been invading our land and setting up more than just “look out posts” within them. I read a story several years ago about a national park in which the Mexicans had set up a large marijuana farm; the feds were well aware of what was going on in the park, but took no action (other than posting warning signs to Americans), because the Mexican criminals were too well organized and too well armed. This is what we’ve come to — we’re just allowing foreign criminal gangs to take over our country, and we’re not even pretending that we’re going to fight back.
“National security” now consists of putting up signs warning Americans to stay out of parts of America controlled by foreigners, and rewarding our soldiers for showing “restraint” in battle. What a sad joke we’ve become.

Conservative women rule! I was amused recently reading a column in the Daily Beast that called the GOP hapless and leaderless. Not really… I believe we have more bonafide leaders than liberals can shake a stick at, and it scares the he!! out of them. The extra special, gooey, yummy icing on the cake is that many of them are women (what is Gloria Steinem to do?) who refuse to bow at the altar of feminazism. Conservative women are the real deal, and we have the stones to pull it off. We’re opening up several cans of electoral whoop-a$$, so libs better run for cover. Better yet, let’s pay for them to go camping in that 80 mile stretch, and they can sit around the campfire, holding hands and singing “Kumbaya” with their Mexican cartel buds.

Great Ad…
Does Arizona NOT have a law that allows you to protect your property with lethal force like Texas does? In Texas your neighbor or someone working for you can protect your property with lethal force if they believe you would want them to. Especially if it is night time, you don’t even have to yell “Stop” to shoot!
So the answer is simple. Make similar law in Arizona…then…throw a big party with everyone bringing their gun of choice. Simple

I just wish she’d've been a little harsher, but it works. If he’s a Conservative and Republican, I think we need R. Lee Ermy as a Southern state governor, and see what happens when the Dalai Obama tries giving him the runaround. It’s too bad the federal government now controls the NG, because this, once again, is a classic illustration of government intervention in states’ business. If she had full control of her own NG forces, what do you think she would’ve done with them, by now?

Failure is not an option, perseverance of true convection will prevail. The fact that we have so many great women leaders, must have many progressives losing sleep. Palin alone drives them to distraction. Bachmann has them whining, Brewer is freaking them out. Michelle Malkin Exposes them like no other. National Geographic has series titled “Boarder Wars”. The entire series documents the problems and success the Customs, Immigration, DHS/TSA, and others have protecting the boarder between AZ and Mexico.
Most of it deals in the success of Fed agencies involved, But the opening segment highlights the large gap that exist around the lack of a physical barricade to prevent illegal aliens for any country from walking into the U.S. Anyone successful enough to make it to a populated U.S. urban area the problem of finding that illegal alien is compounded 100 times the cost to complete the fence. Finally, enforcing existing laws instead of running scared from the P.C. crowd.
I am sure the P.C. crowd would change their minds if a illegal alien broke into their ‘Castle’ searching for valuables to support their family in Mexico or their drug habit that they picked up while living on the streets, where they developed a drug problem.
The answer is simple enforcement of existing laws and completing the fence which was started year ago and overcome by political correctness instead of practical commonsense.
