Brutal: Arizona governor’s ad hammers Obama on immigration
posted at 9:18 pm on May 7, 2010 by Allahpundit
Via JWF, in case you’re under any illusions that this issue isn’t a winner in Arizona — the national media’s hysteria notwithstanding — look no further than this. It reminds me of The One’s vow to have Democrats run on ObamaCare in the fall, the only difference being that Brewer’s approval rating bounced 16 points in two weeks after the immigration law passed and Obama’s approval bounced … ahem.
This makes two jokes now from the White House Correspondents Dinner that have come back to haunt him. Think he’ll be more self-deprecating next year or is he psychologically incapable of that?

Blowback

Sad to think that to Obama Arizona isn’t his only laughing matter. The United States of America is the biggest laughing matter to him. So sad for us.

As an Arizonan I can testify that her stock has indeed gone WAY up. Before the bill signing I was looking for other Republican options in the primary but ads like this make me think “this is one tough lady who takes her responsibilities, her costituents and their concerns seriously”.
KittyLowrey on May 7, 2010 at 9:32 PM
Brutal is right. Absolutely nails him as the small, sarcastic, incompetent bully that he is — the kind of person everyone hates. When he sees it, he is going to be soooooo pissed off. I love it.

Very true. But, have you ever seen a hamster with no nuts running around on a wheel inside a very elaborate cage? Have you ever seen the desperate look of that hamster as he tries to spin and spin and spin, yet he gets nowhere, but still tries to get that nut?
My friend, that is Barry Soetero a/k/a Barack Hussein Obama. How fun it is to watch him try to spin America to his whim. Enjoy it, because we’ll never see anything like this again in our lifetime, and he’ll never get our Nut. I guarantee it.

Wow!
The lady ain’t messin around, she brought a gun to the proverbial gunfight and loaded for bear at that. Nice to see someone in the GOP with stones. So now that’s Palin, Bachmann & Brewer…. you’d think the supposed men in GOP would nat least be embarrassed into growing a pair!

He slapped her and she brought out the brass knuckles.
TugboatPhil on May 7, 2010 at 9:43 PM
Where are all the republican men’s b*lls? Has DC taken them away? It seems like the only real hard hitters against Obama and his wacky policies and opinions are women.
With the exception of Paul Ryan, Mike Pence and Jim DeMint, that is.
But the heaviest hitters have been of the XX variety (i.e. Palin, Brewer)
Intrepid on May 7, 2010 at 9:43 PM
They are only one tick more competent than the Clown-in-Chief and his posse. And one tick ain’t much. They had a golden opportunity to fix the borders after 9/11 and they did nothing.
TheBigOldDog on May 7, 2010 at 9:44 PM
Obama is making queefs in his Underoo’s. I hear he is wearing Super Man’s tonight. I feel sorry for the maids in the White House. What a mess they will have to clean up.
Key West Reader on May 7, 2010 at 9:44 PM
Excellent. Simple, factual, direct. This is a theme Republicans can apply to everything.
“Do your job.”
Secure the borders instead of seizing control of healthcare. That’s not your job.
“Do your job.”
What a great way to remind Americans what the constitutional duties of a President are, and what they’re not, and the damage that overreaching, arrogant and incompetent Presidents can inflict.

He should have known not to insult people in his damn laugh-it-up party who are just trying to defend life, limb and property in a besieged border state, with an open drug-war breaking out and continuing to grow.
Nothing but contempt for this mendacious president who clearly doesn’t care one iota about the misery of people living near the southern border whom he has utterly failed to lift a finger to protect.

Here’s an idea. How ’bout we air lift him into the middle of Tijuana draped in an American Flag, dressed in his Super Man Underoo’s, and gently drop him in the middle of some tumbleweed. I’m absolutely certain that he will be granted amnesty by the drug lords.

Here’s a 1995 Interview of Hopey,that Doug Ross stumbled on!
================
And,Hopeys latest Vote 2010 Political ad!
========================================
In 1995, author Eric Clark interviewed the young Obama, who was labeled an author (he had just published Dreams from my Father) and a civil-rights lawyer. He had recently achieved some notoriety through his election to the post of President of Harvard Law Review.
===============================
CRISIS: Having lived abroad, in Indonesia, how do you think that helped shape your views on race?
OBAMA: It made me realize that racism was an extension of other abuses of power. Living there you learned people can find excuses other than race to oppress each other.
CRISIS: Will race relations get better?
OBAMA: Not in the short term. We’re moving out of a period of American preeminence on the world economic stage. Global competition means increasing economic uncertainty for the majority of Americans, black and white. Unfortunately, politicians in this country find it convenient to define these problems in racial terms — affirmative action, immigration and so on. It’s always easier to organize people around tribe than around principle.

On second thought, I don’t know if I want him to be more “present” than I want him “absent”. If he’s not there, then he can’t do as much damage.
