Quotes of the day
posted at 10:12 pm on April 29, 2010 by Allahpundit
“In the past four years, I have argued in this space that nothing can or should be done, no new federal law passed, until the border itself is secure. That is the predicate, the commonsense first step. Once existing laws are enforced and the border made peaceful, everyone in the country will be able to breathe easier and consider, without an air of clamor and crisis, what should be done next. What might that be? How about relax, see where we are, and absorb. Pass a small, clear law—say, one granting citizenship to all who serve two years in the armed forces—and then go have a Coke. Not everything has to be settled right away. Only controlling the border has to be settled right away…
“If the federal government and our political parties were imaginative, they would understand that it is actually in their interests to restore peace and order to the border. It would be a way of demonstrating that our government is still capable of functioning, that it is still to some degree connected to the people’s will, that it has the broader interests of the country in mind.
“The American people fear they are losing their place and authority in the daily, unwinding drama of American history. They feel increasingly alienated from their government. And alienation, again, is often followed by deep animosity, and animosity by the breaking up of things. If our leaders were farsighted not only for themselves but for the country, they would fix the border.”

The state legislator tweaked the wording of the bill to make it clearer that this isn’t about racial profiling.
What’s fascinating to me is that even with all the negative press about the law, the bully pulpit crud, etc., Gallup shows majority support for the law. LOL*
Will they get a clue? I doubt it.

WTH! Frum, Parker and Noonan correct all within the space of one wee! It’s a conspiracy I tell you!!! I don’t know about the rest of you but I haven’t been a very good pen pal with my members of Congress since they passed healthcare. I need to get back to giving these people and ear and eye full.

As a Mexican I’m always amazed by white America and their foolishness. They fail to recognize how the Marxists have infiltrated our Mexican communities and subtly but effectively radicalized us. It’s not a radicalization that even we recognize, we simply respond based on the deceitful means by which the Marxist has marketed to us, such as “rights” and “social justice.”
Also, I’m absolutely stunned that white Christians don’t know they’ve been targeted for homogenization and cultural and religious annihilation by the same people that are promoting my peoples radicalization. They are attacked by those that control Hollywood, MSM, the publishing houses (such as those that publish school textbooks, has anyone studied to see who owns/controls them), the government, etc. These powers have aligned against you, and frankly, you don’t even know who controls the levers of power.
Lastly (for now), it’s truly amazing that white America is willing to walk off a cliff for Rush Limbaugh and his team despite their record of simply keeping the right in line to empower socialist GOP President’s like Bush and socialist GOP Congress’. It is literally insane to follow a man who’s unwillingness to stand on principles and hold his party accountable by acting instead of subtly scolding has damaged the conservative movement to the point of opening the door to the current marxist in the White House. The lesson in this is that even if your friend is in power, if he does not stand on the Founder’s principles he must be held accountable through actions not words spoken while smoking a cigar in a private jet that’s headed to the White House for your birthday party.
You had better stop relying on men and start asking The Lord for help. Stop emulating the Limbaugh arrogance and start showing some Christ-like humility.

I appreciate the information and you give Mr. Limbaugh power then he has.

‘Green card’ granted after two years of SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE as border guard for all immigrants entering from southern U.S. border.
Applicants serve with tenured supervisors for this duration. Applicants must pass test for citizenship in english.
Deportation and documentation of any individuals whom perform unsatisfactorily.
They will work for low wages; Money saved. They get free health care here, anyway. Some may stay on as permanent border guards; Cheaper training and longer probation. Less chance for anyone entering from the southern U.S. border to enter the ‘underground economy’.

Do you have internet service in Apatzingan de La Constitucion, or Iguala de la Independencia, or where ever you are logged in from?
People in Mexico are handling their own radicals SO well, we should entrust them to do the same here?
And I see that praying is having such an overwhelming effect on crooked Mexican politicians and gangs.
Keep up the good work!
But, IN YOU OWN COUNTRY under YOUR OWN CONSTITUTION; Which is SO much better than ours.

Ever notice how the left always changes the subject and turns it into a bash Rush session? They’ve never listened to him and don’t understand why so many people do. Anytime anyone separates us into groups based on color, origin, which part of the country we live in, what sport our kids participate in, etc., they see us as a voting bloc and we should resent it. It always comes from the left.

BBL guys, I gotta light the censer at my Limbaugh shrine and prostrate myself…it’s only 35 mins till he is on the air delivering today’s marching orders!

White foolishness I guess is another name for white guilt. Yet it seems to me that there are a great deal of people of color that are suffering from the same condition that has allowed all this nonsense to continue. The blame whitey mantra is so 60′s and 70′s.
The Lord helps those who help themselves and Rush Limbaugh is one of the great promoters of self reliance and conservatism. He was one of the few to oppose George Bush and the GOP on entitlements and spending. He only notes that the Liberal Demorats were far worst. He was proven right!
Rush Limbaugh only makes me envious in the way that he gets paid millions of dollars to tick off the morons of this world.
