Video: Obama gets testy with “don’t ask, don’t tell” hecklers

posted at 10:20 pm on April 19, 2010 by Allahpundit

Nothing too exciting but since this is as irritable as we’re likely to see President Spock get, it qualifies as fun enough for a late-night palate cleanser. Things start hopping around two minutes in and then again at five minutes in.

Unemployment near 10 percent, federal deficits rocketing to unprecedented levels, U.S. troops still fighting two wars and a showdown with Iran on the horizon, and the big lefty outcry at his fundraiser with Boxer is over a policy the White House is already working to repeal. Perfect. Click the image to watch.

He’s mad, and these are the types Rahm was talking about with his “F’ing retards” remark. But other than not move quickly on their pet project, it’s not like Obama’s going to do a 180 on what they, or any of the other far left special interest groups want, between now and the November election.

The fun part will start after that, if the Republicans score major wins, and Obama has to face the choice of triangulating like Clinton did to try and win re-election. That would mean actually signing one or two pieces of legislation that really will tee off the far left types, who were always wary of Clinton to begin with, but truly thought Obama would have all their socialist goals enacted into law by now while having the government shut down Rush Limbaugh, outlaw Fox News, arrest Bush and probably execute Cheney as well. Hell hath no fury like an immediate gratification liberal denied their ice cream by the man they put into office.
