I was over at Ace the other day…….and the question was about how jews in America can be liberal when if flies in the face of Israel’s national security.
There were a number of jews who gave honest, insightful, and educational answers to the question.
No one was attacked, no one was disparaged. I learned an awful lot in that environment.

For some reason HA is a threat and I believe is infiltrated by Oh I don’t astroturfing trolls who want to disrupt.
I think the beauty of AOSHQ is that it is an organic blog that started small and gained popularity but there is a bevy of oldtimers there who smoke out a-holes.
HA isn’t that authentic however how amazing Allah’s commentary is. But the razzle dazzle of Michelle combined with Allah’s square on and biting analysis take makes HA a target. At least that’s my take.

I was impressed by Mr.West’s video to the point of looking up some bio on him. You go, dude. If I wasn’t more urgently interested in unelecting Barbara Boxer here in California, I’d be mightily tempted to send him a dinero or two. He has my vote. Amazing who this guy turns out to be. When I heard about the officer who took serious action, with full responsibility, in the war to get the enemy to talk, I told someone this is the kind of man we need more of and they are trying to squash him. Turns out the guy is unsquashable.
He is a history lover, to boot, and an America lover, which makes him the inverse of Obama, the America despiser. One wants to preserve what I consider the greatness of America (individual liberty and empowerment of the individual) and one wants to end it and replace it with an engineered society designed not by the individuals but by the oligarchs

While I am not Polish, my wife is 1st generation American of Polish descent and my daughter is half Polish. Poles may be a joke to some, but they know what it means to be trampled on by Nazis and communists and they know what freedom is worth. They also know that Obama doesn’t give a crap about their freedom and wouldn’t mind if Putin forced them back into a new Soviet empire. Last time, they were decimated by the Germans and overwhelmed by the communists. This time it won’t be so easy. They will recognize a Putin puppet and I don’t think they will fall for it.

I don’t Allen West but I was able to read the badges he was wearing and the Purple heart which lead me to think he has at least served us honorably unlike some folks I could name. Also, I live in Oregon and don’t get much information on the man but I did notice that he was speaking without aid of notes or teleprompter and said nothing stupid, erroneous or self serving. Seems like a keeper.

Make no mistake, I recognize this guy is a rising star and I hope we have yet to see him reach his highest point but I’m just trying to be realistic about his chances. This nation needs real leaders like him, not more professional politicians (there’s a BIG difference). Let’s help him win a regional election first in Florida and then try to “draft” him for the national stage.
Remember, we conservatives have to win and win big in 2010 or there might not be much of a nation left to save from the Statists in 2012. I’m not saying we shouldn’t think long term but we have to win one election at a time.
