Too dumb to check: Lefties publicly advertising plans to frame tea partiers as racist
posted at 7:24 pm on April 12, 2010 by Allahpundit
I had a laugh over the weekend at the naivete of a tipster who sent me this link as evidence that liberal mobies were planning to crash the tea party rallies. Obviously, the site had to be a clever PR ploy set up by tea partiers themselves to create plausible deniability in case any fringers make trouble this week. If some far-right crank shows up with an “Obama = Hitler” sign, no problem: TPers could simply point to the website and say, “Aha, he must have been a leftist infiltrator trying to make us look bad.” Thus would every last questionable sign at the rallies immediately become suspect. For that reason, surely, surely, the website couldn’t be a bona fide attempt by actual liberals to encourage mobyism. No one could be that stupid.
Jason Levin, creator of http://www.crashtheteaparty.org, said Monday the group has 65 leaders in major cities across the country who are trying to recruit members to infiltrate tea party events for April 15 — tax filing day, when tea party groups across the country are planning to gather and protest high taxes.
“Every time we have someone on camera saying that Barack Obama isn’t an American citizen, we want someone sitting next to him saying, ‘That’s right, he’s an alien from outer space!’” Levin said…
Levin says they want to exaggerate the group’s least appealing qualities, further distance the tea party from mainstream America and damage the public’s opinion of them.
“Do I think every member of the tea party is a homophobe, racist or a moron? No, absolutely not,” Levin said. “Do I think most of them are homophobes, racists or morons? Absolutely.”
So fantastically idiotic is this that I toyed with the idea that Levin is a tea partier under deep, deep cover as a left-wing halfwit. Nope: The boss emeritus has been digging around and he appears to be legit. He did initially try to hide the fact that the website was registered to him (the Freepers smoked him out), but what I don’t understand is why he’d put the site up in the first place. A false-flag operation is effective only if it’s secret; the way to do this logically would have been through word of mouth or left-wing message boards that are off the mainstream radar screen. What am I missing here? How does this not end up completely backfiring by letting tea partiers blame the left for incendiary material at the rallies?
Be sure to follow the link to Michelle’s post and read about her encounter with a swastika-toting liberal at an early rally. They’ve done this before; they were just smarter about it then.

Nope, you are just your average garden variety racist, made all the worse by your arrogant assertion of innocence due to skin color. Under their skin beneath their linen sheets the members of the KKK were men just like you, full of arrogance hatred and self deceived into believing they were pure and innocent, yup exactly like you…

The great thing about the Mobies/Coffee Party crowd?
Their weed must be incredible. Anyone who can come up with something this totally f**ked up must be able to produce some mighty bong hits.
Even the weed that Sarah Palin smoked probably isn’t up to this mighty weed.

Nobody could have predicted this!
By which I mean, any non-leftist could have predicted this!

They have grown desperate and afraid, and therefore stupid.
These guys actually believed that the American people could be suckered into going along with the destruction of our country and our children’s future. Now they are finding out just how wrong they were. The Tea Party movement terrifies them because it demonstrates more than anything else that our nation is still a strong and vital one, that Americans still believe in the principles this nation was founded upon, and that we are not willing to sit idly by while Marxists work to destroy it.
The Tea Party will be a threat to them not only in 2010, or 2012, but for many years to come. The left had succeeded in damaging the Republican brand, helped in no small part by their own incompetence and failure to live up to their own principles. But contrary to the self-deceptions the left so deeply wanted to believe, it was the failure to deliver on those principles, and not the principles themselves, that the American people were were unhappy about.
The left truly believed that they had somehow re-written the fabric of our nation when they ousted faux-conservatives. Now they are getting their comeuppance for that hubris, and it will only get worse for them.
The difference between leftist ideologies and conservative principles is that the latter only fail when they are not implemented, whereas the former are a disaster when they are.
The only way that leftists can break even at the ballot box is by pretending not to be leftists, by lying about who they are and what they want. The Marxist Socialist Media helps them in this effort on a daily basis. But even so, the only way that they can actuallly win at the ballot box is when Republicans also drop the ball. But the moment they do win is the beginning of the end because their entire platform is a giant bait and switch. They promise hamburgers and deliver shit sandwiches, and it doesn’t take very long before even the most clueless person realizes this.
In the end they are swept from power, their lies made evident to all, and forced to go back to the drawing board and dream up new lies and new scams by which they can trick the average citizen into voting for his or her own destruction.
This is why the lefties in congress were so desperate to pass their Wealth Steal bill. They know full and well that they only have a very small window of opportunity to push their agenda through before they are given the boot. Their biggest mistake is in believing that their destructive acts cannot and will not be repealed. If someone hijacked a boat and sent it towards the rocks, would the crew of that boat leave it on that heading after retaking the ship?
leereyno on April 13, 2010 at 11:15 AM
It says a lot about the Loony Left’s confidence in their own policies that they believe their only hope for diminishing the growing influence of the Tea Party is by falsely slandering Tea Partiers as racist homophobes.
The Lefties know they can’t win a debate on the merits of the Tea Party’s positions, so they have to resort to outright deceit and trickery to try and paint a false image of Tea Partiers in the public eye.
Pathetic.

I find it a little off-putting that AP’s first response to that site was to assume the Right was being manipulative rather than the Left being stupid enough to be so blatent. Seems like he holds the Right in as much contempt as the Left. Dishonest versus stupid?

I’m going to a Tea Party in St. Paul, MN on April 15th, and like at the last TP I went to, everyone was saying “find out who you are standing next to” so this crap can’t happen.
Mirimichi on April 13, 2010 at 11:54 AM
Are these the same chumps who have been clashing with Portland police recently? If so, then the real aim is more likely to be another clash timed to coincide with TP events so that national media attention is diverted.

If the msm’s don’t care, the liberals don’t care, and don’t think they’ll be caught. Because after all….who is watching Fox, or reading right wing sites? Everyone is obviously clinging to the news coming out of CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, and ABC.

We do go bike riding in many of the same locations. ;)
Yes, I must be a racist because I speak out daily against bigotry. BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! LMAO! ROFL! That was a good one!
You’re just mad because you’ve been identified as racially-resentful. No worries, Buttercup. I don’t think you’re a racist. You just have issues with certain groups of people.

Now, of course, keeping in mind that I am no shrink, but that statement of yours seems to display more than a hint of your wallowing in self pity. Sad as it doesn’t have to be that way.

Strategy and Tactics to use against Leftist Tea Party Crashers
1. Hook up with an organized tea party group.
2. Carry a blank sign to stand in front of a crasher with a racist or ridiculous sign.
3. Call out the crasher.
4. Take his/her picture, post it on Craigs List and find out who the person is.
5. Follow reporters around and document everything they do with video cameras (they’ll just love that).
6. Document, document, document. With cameras and video cameras.
7. Carry a sign that says “Who is Saul Alinsky?”
8. Surround leftist crashers and chant them down with “God Bless America.”
9. Find out who/what media cameras are shooting and get in the picture to ruin their shots.
10. Don’t start any fights (don’t behave like the thugs), be civil and have people backing you up.
The left doesn’t realize that tea partiers are THE American people. They accuse tea partiers of being racists, morons, etc. They can’t find proof of this so they make things up, like the day Pelosi carried her sledge hammer to the capital building and all the racist name calling accusations arose (with no proof forthcoming). It’s time to marginalize the media and the left with documentation of what they’re doing.

itsspideyman on April 13, 2010 at 10:42 PM
Personally, I think they believe their own press. In other words, he honestly believes that most of the tea partiers are racist homophobic morons just barely intelligent enough to breath; that they will both tacitly agree with what the false flag signs say, and will be to stupid to notice that a false flag operation is going on.
The things that may save them is that the left has been drinking it’s own bathwater for so long that this will just play into their stereotypes of the right, and the fact that its the left doing it won’t really bother them, since for most of them, the ends justify the means. For most of the rest of the world, the left’s bathwater is the only thing they know to drink, so they won’t know the difference.
On a side note, it will be interesting to see if the left realizes it’s a false flag operation. It would be funny if they ended up torching their own people in one of their typical witch hunts. Not that that’s likely to happen, though.

Kind of hard to “distance” mainstream America from itself.

There will have to be conservative-leaning reporters to verify the tricks, or these people will succeed.
