I’ve yet to hear an explanation as to how the intend to compel the homeless schizophrenics and drug addicts I see downtown every day to sign up for health care, but I digress…

It’s not fair to Obama to limit the BFD tag to just the Obamacare debacle. The Square Deal and The New Deal were both whopping bags of proto/quasi-fascist, corporatist and welfare-state crap. Similarly, the BFD should include it all: Porkulus, the GM/Chrysler/UAW bailouts, and Obamacare all go into the bag so far. If we’re lucky, that’s all they’ll get passed; If not, we can roll in Cap and Tax and the VAT, too! As with the “progressives” before him, Obama’s BFD is indeed very, very big.
