Poll: What was the Obamateurism of the week?

posted at 9:00 am on March 28, 2010 by Ed Morrissey

Barack Obama says he knows what it’s like to take a tough vote, but you can’t vote “present” in this Obamateurism of the Week poll!  Honest Abe, we’ll be talking about this one for weeks.  Of course, we’ll actually know what’s in this poll, but if you choose poorly, we won’t refuse to be seen with you, either.

Previous 2010 “winners”:

Got an Obamateurism of the Day? If you see a foul-up by Barack Obama, e-mail it to me at obamaisms@edmorrissey.com with the quote and the link to the Obamateurism. I’ll post the best Obamateurisms on a daily basis, depending on how many I receive. Include a link to your blog, and I’ll give some link love as well. And unlike Slate, I promise to end the feature when Barack Obama leaves office.

I would have added the fact that he ditched the Israeli PM and left him on his own for dinner, which shows Mr. President to be a man of no character or class. He would have never have treated his hollywood or hip hop friends in such a manner.

Concerning the Netanyaho SNAFU™, there are three possibilities:

1. Ojugears is hopelessly out of his depth concerning foreign policy.

2. Ojugears knows the ramifications of his actions, and doesn’t care because his wittew feewings are much more important.

3. Ojugears knows the ramifications of his actions, and is doing this as a “foreign policy flourish” to enhance the Cloward-Piven strategy of social and political change by economic suicide.

Car salesmen, lawyers, politicians. Great company!

Obama’s treatment toward Israel and Netanyahu is just shocking and frightening. Glenn Reynolds is a bit too optimistic on the nuances. Regarding Israel, is Obama being incompetent or a mastermind? He can’t be both here. Either he doesn’t have a clue or there is a method to this madness and he has an end game.

hillbillyjim on March 28, 2010 at 9:59 AM

Obama is now the great divider, economically illiterate, an utter failure at setting Foreign or Domestic Policy and is both “stuck on stupid” and stuck in campaign mode. A perfect recipe for change on November 2, 2010.

He can play the Tea Party dissenters as racists or question their Patriotism but He and his Socialist America Hating band of traitors are the root of the problem and not the solution.

His agenda will result in a quality of life in the US that will rival that of Somalia in the near future. He is not the first Black President but is the First Third World President and hopefully the last. It may take a decade to repair the harm that he has done.

Øbummer “gets ObamaCare wrong on children, young adults.”

Of all the choices available, this one is the least politically motivated, IMO. All the others are tactical decisions to advance Øbummer’s standing among various constituencies.

That’s how I gauge these questions, now. The answer least politically motivated, most inept, and least knowledgeable is the best answer.

I disagree with the majority on this one. Treating our closest allies like crap is becoming the Obama trademark, but not unexpected for such a lowlife know-nothing.

The real scandal is that the White House, with all of their resources and tentacles, pushed this socialist healthcare bill so hard and twisted so many arms, and they continue to lie about what it actually says. In fairness to Our Idiot President, who can’t hire people to run a State dinner properly, it seems obvious that he simply doesn’t know what it says.

God knows he hasn’t read it, but apparently the retarded patronage chumps he and Emanuel brought with them haven’t read it, either.

Along with Dereliction of Duty in not reading and knowing what was in obamacare, and/or Perpetration of National Fraud on the Citizens of the United States by LYING about what was and was not in the bill in over 400 speeches and interviews, including two prime-time telecasts when speaking to both Houses of Congress as well as in the State of the Union address. How about engaging in bribery/coercion of private industries and/or legislators?

Yeah, we can start with these four charges, they easily rise to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors. I’m sure other smarter posters can come up with many more. Let’s start an impeachment-chain, shall we?

1. Criminal Neglignce
2. Dereliction of Duty

4. Engaging in Bribery/Coercion/Intimidation of Private Industries, Private Individuals and/or Legislators
