CNN: History-making super-president now at 46/51 in approval

True, true — but the poll was taken before yesterday’s House vote, which already seems to have given him a modest bounce in the Gallup daily tracker. Wait until voters get a snoutful of “history” from the media and finally have a chance to breathe it in. Go ahead and smell it.

For the first time, a CNN poll has found that a majority of Americans disapprove of President Obama’s job performance.

According to a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll released Monday, 51 percent of respondents disapprove of Obama’s job performance and 46 percent approve of it…

Obama’s approval rating has dropped steadily each month since December, when it was 54 percent. His highest approval rating in a CNN poll was 76 percent in February 2009 shortly after he took office.

His approval on health care splits 40/58, which is the worst rating he has on any issue except for two others, one of which is — surprise — the federal deficit, where he now stands at a jolly 36/62. Fortunately, as we’ve been told repeatedly, ObamaCare’s going to reduce the deficit so look for those numbers to bounce back as the savings roll in. (Ignore this guy.) The other issue where he does worse than on HCR? Why, on amnesty — his very next legislative priority. What could go wrong?

According to CBS, his numbers are sky high compared to Pelosi’s and Reid’s. Madam Speaker’s approval splits 11/37 while Dingy’s breaks at 8/23. When the poll was taken, they were on the brink of the biggest progressive legislative victory since Medicare, and combined their approval is … 19 percent. I wonder why:
