Video: And now, a children’s orchestral tribute to the wisdom of Barack Obama
posted at 6:56 pm on March 15, 2010 by Allahpundit
Via Ace and Right Wing News, if music be the food of Hopenchange, play on. No Jesus allusions in this one, sad to say — but then that’s why we have the New York Times.
Mock if you must, but I want you to know something. Whenever I hear about a shady backroom deal or an unconstitutional legislative gambit or an out-and-out bribe to some intractable member of the caucus, this is the sound my soul makes.

Blowback

As my kid complained when her band had to play something composed by their high school teacher:
“Why don’t we get to play real music?”

ok ok, i tapped out at 2:30. Obama’s ideas are as disconnected from reality as is this guys voice from the video. A little Kung Fu theater with our Obama Youth brainwashing set to music was good for a laugh.

Jeff2161 on March 15, 2010 at 7:05 PM
What else can you expect from an America-hating traitor like Osama Obama?
I know some in the Caribbean despise this country for the “evils” it brought upon Haiti; to them, what happened in the 1920s and ’30s is as fresh as the “genocide” of 1915 is to some Armenians. The Totalitarian-in-Chief is worshiped by those who continue to decry the USA’s “occupation” of Haiti, and who grab American aid while speaking out against it.
They probably watch that vile gobbledygook on the video with ecstasy, getting all misty-eyed over the joy our about-to-be President-for-Life brings to those who worship Him.

You know, Obama really does need a theme song, doesn’t he? A brief 30-45 second bit that plays when he gets off AF1 or is walking to his podium, etc. What, you don’t think he’d commission something like that? Have you been watching this guy?

Ooooo one guy? Man, that looks so professionally done.
Difference. One dude writes a song about how he likes Sara Palin. These guys stage massive productions costing thousands of dollars to Obama. The guy’s the President, so he deserves the respect that comes with the office, not hero worship.

alohapundit on March 15, 2010 at 7:21 PM
I don’t think the dissonance is on purpose, but it fits nonetheless. Good grief.
Any other classical aficionados recognize the music? The horn motif in the beginning sounds eerily similar to Aaron Copland’s “Fanfare of the Common Man.”
conservative pilgrim on March 15, 2010 at 7:22 PM
The reminded me of my son’s elementary school “graduation” where I had zero idea of the song the band was playing. I finally got a chance to see the program only to find out it was “Say You, Say Me”. I still don’t believe it.

Obama’s Horst Wessel song (loses the rhyme in the translation from “Austrian”).
Heads high, ranks closed
Loyal Democrats march with silent solid steps
Supporters accosted by the red front reaction
March in spirit with us in our ranks
The rallies ruled by ACORN
The rallies free for the SEIC
Millions, full of hope, look up to Barack Obama
The day breaks for Hope and Change
For the last time the call will now be blown
For the struggle now we all stand ready
Soon we will control everyone on every street
Opposition will last only a short time longer.
Heads high, ranks closed
Loyal Democrats march with silent solid steps
Supporters accosted by the red front reaction
March in spirit with us in our ranks

those kids just need to put on a maroon beret, get an old bucket and turn over that cello case on the sidewalk and hope someone starts droppin’ some change in it. They’re going to need those crappy music skills one day just to pay for their new kindle pad the school forces them to buy so they can gits them some more hopenchange.

This kind of stuff involving kids just creeps me out. It is absolutely outrageous that if a kid wants to be in the school orchestra or choir that have to participate in a paean to Obama. If schools are so concerned about being accepting of diversity that won’t use the word “Christmas” in their “December” pageants and won’t allow kids to sing anything that mentions Jesus, why can’t they see that this kind of partisan politics in schools is as bad or worse?!?!

And as Obama gazed upon this land of hope & change,

Gaia, the mother of all that we are from welcomed him,

I, _____ , swear by Karl Marx this sacred oath that I shall render unconditional obedience to Barack Obama, the Supreme Ruler of the ACORN Reich, supreme commander of the armed forces, Divine Ruler of all that he surveys and that I shall at all times be ready, as a subservient soldier, to give my life for this oath. Tyranny and thuggery are for his reign
His candidacy was rather like that of a Henry Houdini

To all his fascist action most foul we must still be wise

Observations:
1. As a former French Horn player through high school, who managed to make it to Carnegie Hall in his junior year, I can attest with certainty that these kids suck as musicians.
2. Hitler had the Hitler Jugend; Hope-a-Dope is working on the Obama Jugend.
3. Herman Goering had the Hermann Goering Choir; Hope-a-Dope gets the Barack Obama Orchestra.
As I said on another thread today, Godwin’s Law be damned: today’s libs and lefties don’t just think like national socialists, they increasingly ape them.
