You should also see the atrocious ways in which they treat their Indian population. Mississippi in the 60s was not that bad.
My only criticism of Americans is that they do not realize how good they have it. I wish that they were more grateful for what they have.

Congratulations on your choice. I agree that America is a great country and I fear that she has begun to move farther along the road we started on under Trudeau. But Canada is far from all bad.
And as for all those lazy Canucks who are so spoiled they’ve never had to fight for anything, I strongly recommend that you do 2 things. First take a trip to France and visit the Canadian cemeteries for the two world wars. Second, don’t ever repeat that absurd statement in front of a Canadian veteran of any of the wars we’ve fought, including the one we are currently engaged in in Afghanistan.

The leftist media leads others to believe that Canada is some sort of utopia. Far from it. I’ve seen the way white Canadians treat others. It’s a racist country, and always has been. Even other whites aren’t liked. Each part has its issues, but Ontario is the most hypocritical. If you’re white there, you’re good as gold (unless you screw up – then you’re cast out). If you’re not white, don’t count on anything. You will be judged on the basis of your skin color. What a disgrace. They need a civil rights movement to shake up the white majority and make them realize that the others in society matter more than as cheap labor.

I agree that the black schools are a bad idea, but Jim Crow?! Come on. The idea for the schools came from black educators, who thought it would be a way of improving graduation rates among black students. The idea may be stupid, and it may be misguided, but to compare it to racist policies like Apartheid or Jim Crow is just stupid.

But it says something else: multiculturalism is a failure. It proves that blacks and whites cannot live together. This is readily apparent in Toronto where non-whites are treated with incredible if invisible contempt. Whites on the other hand assume automatically that other whites are wealthy and trustworthy, until proven otherwise. I have seen this happen so don’t deny it. Moreover, one step closer to segregation is too much. I recommend punishing Ontario for this.

I wish Canadians would investigate their past more rigorously. It’s too “happy-go-lucky”. Even the “Lost Cause” is more honest. The treatment of Indians ranks with the worst atrocities, except that it’s still going on. Almost all of those thousands of slaves who fled north left after the Civil War because of the racism. In fact, most who went with the British after the Revolution returned to Africa. Any claims to a tolerant past are fantasy; in fact most of Canada’s “history” is fiction inspired by the Trudeauist dictatorship of the 1970s. Surely Canada’s war dead deserve better.

What a tool, Glibbs came out with the Canadian jersey on, made a couple of announcements for Barry’s schedule, and then took it off. His pledge had been to “do the press briefing wearing a Team Canada jersey.”
So he makes a couple of other comments wearing the Team USA jersey, and then says, “Maybe it’s not proper to answer your questions wearing this… oh well just a couple.”
He starts taking the questions and ends up doing nearly the entire briefing in the USA jersey, about 40 minutes. Then puts his suit back on just before the end of the session.
And that is how the Obami fulfil their promises. Petty and dishonest all the way.
