Obamateurism of the Day

With ObamaCare struggling to survive, Barack Obama has two messages for the American people. First, the time for talk is over. Second … he’s coming to every town he can to talk about how the time for talk is over. Not that this is a new message, mind you; whether the subject is energy independence, global warming, health care, Porkulus, or Porkulus again, Obama wants us to know that the time for talk is over.
I compiled a mashup of a few repeats of Obama’s greatest hit:
Isn’t it odd that a man who likes doing nothing but nonstop talking wants everyone else to shut up? After all, this is the same man who spoke more at the health-care summit — an Obama idea of spending a whole day talking — than the entire Republican contingent combined. Obviously, Obama prefers monologue over dialogue, and he’ll make sure everyone knows it on his latest “Shut up, he explained” tour.

In his mind the world revolves around him and it is only natural that the rest of us STFU and bask in his brilliant thoughts. OT but the slaughter solution pretty much assures that Congress will pass Obamacare by means that show just how broken the system is. 80% of Americans do not want Obamacare and the massive debt that comes with it and yet one political party and a few immoral and corrupt leaders of that party have managed to hijack one sixth of the economy. I am heartbroken for America today and so angry I don’t quite know how to vent my frustration at the traitors that have decided they can circumvent the will of the people- all so the filthy lying coward in the White House can have a “win” on healthcare reform.

These are not teachable moments because the crowd has already drunk the Kool-aid. Professor Obama is not instructing, he is preaching to the choir. Unrestrained ego and narcissism? – yep
Grabbing power for the Federal government in every way imaginable? – yep
Incompetent? – yep
Trashing the economy on purpose? – maybe – or he really really believes command economy can work well and can be Constitutionally implemented here, which it can’t.

Obama’s afraid of confronting the actual barrier to his health care plan, which is the Blue Dog Democrats, Stupak coalition members and Senate Democrats in Red or swing states up for re-election.
He soils his pants at the thought of confronting anyone except for conservative Republicans, so that leaves him with no other option but to continue to talk about this being the time to stop talking. Because if Obama stops talking, it’s like a shark who stops swimming — he has basically no other way to survive as president, because not talking 24/7/365 on TV would actually mean working behind the scenes and having to settle for compromises within his own Democratic Party coalition, and there’s no way he’s doing that unless Harry and Nancy can figure out how to do it for him.

When does being President allow him from not following the rules he established?
Case in point. During the ?Health Care Debate? he promised would be broadcast to the world, he laid out the timetable for opinions to be heard and because I am President and these rules do not apply to me, carry on and they did. By uttering these instructions he was claiming himself above the law and rules that the rest of U.S. must follow.

Without pointing to one statement specifically, but your commentary in general about President Obama, is it my imagination or has your criticism gotten a little bit sharper?
No disrespect, (and it certainly doesn’t come unwarranted) but the tenor of your threads about the president seems, at least to me, to have gone from giving him the benefit of the doubt for the most part to your patience wearing thin.
