Live: Karl Rove book launch

posted at 10:55 am on March 9, 2010 by Ed Morrissey

Karl Rove launches his new book today, and he’s taking his case to the people in both his book and its publication launch. At noon ET, Rove will broadcast live on his new Ustream channel, talking about his new book Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight, and presumably interacting with the audience in some format. Since my show has run on Ustream for almost two years, I know Karl will have a great time with the webcast. I’m not sure whether he will engage with a chat room, but I’ll embed it for Hot Air readers nonetheless. And be sure to check in early, as I hear they may go live before noon.

Don’t forget that Karl will join me today for The Ed Morrissey Show, which starts at 3 pm ET with my great friend Andrew Malcolm of the Los Angeles Times.

Does he have a plan for taking back the country?

Judging by the show page, it will be a Twitter/Facebook-based “chat”, not a traditional TEMS chat.

Wonder if there will be a feature on MSNBC Countdown tonight where Keith Olbermann literally rips this book to shreds with his teeth in an absolutely uncontrollable blind rage?

Talk about a YouTube moment!

Which chapter covers how to build a weather machine that can cause tsunamis and hurricanes?

That chapter ended up in the same place as the recipe for Greek Fire, lest it fall into the wrong hands.

Glenn Beck having Massa on his show tonight.

And Glenn Beck just apologized to Michelle on the radio after their segment ended.

Thanks. Michelle’s against it? Massa’s probably scum, but if he’s able to shine a light on Rahm’s Chicago Way thuggery, then I’m all for it. Think of him as our “useful idiot”.

Rahm Emanuel needs to go — and take his boss with him.

She doesn’t see Massa as a useful idiot… she sees him as someone simply trying to save his own hide, and believes there are far more credible people to shine the light on the Chicago thuggery that should be listened to, and allowed air time before a two-bit pervert hack.

Hope Ed or AP finds the audio of the conversation to make a post.

Just have to mention how irritating it is that Simon and Schuster, the publisher of “Courage and Consequence” is not releasing this title in ebook format for FOUR MONTHS!

As the WaPo punned… Seeing the world throgh Rove-colored glasses.

Massa’s an anti-Iraq Democrat who was guided by Wesley Clark. He is opportunistic scum. More importantly, if things really were as simple as Massa claims, why is afraid of the ethics panel? Does he really think that Pelosi have so much sway that she can turn the process into a kangaroo court?

Karl Rove Indicted on Charges of Perjury, Lying to Investigators

By Jason Leopold
t r u t h o u t | Report

Saturday 13 May 2006

Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald spent more than half a day Friday at the offices of Patton Boggs, the law firm representing Karl Rove.

During the course of that meeting, Fitzgerald served attorneys for former Deputy White House Chief of Staff Karl Rove with an indictment charging the embattled White House official with perjury and lying to investigators related to his role in the CIA leak case, and instructed one of the attorneys to tell Rove that he has 24 business hours to get his affairs in order, high level sources with direct knowledge of the meeting said Saturday morning.

“24 Business Hours”. Bwahahahaha.

***
The Massa resignation is a strange one. I would expect an ex Navy veteran to fight on to victory–or to die trying. And once he has resigned–what benefit does he reap with anyone?
***
Possibly SanFranNan or Rhambo made him a Don Corleone style OFFER THAT HE COULDN’T REFUSE. Possibly something on video that could send him to jail for life. Or an invite to do a Jimmy Hoffa II act. Keep digging–the C**P will surface someday.
