The story here is the complete inability of the Democratic party to police itself.

Putting the Beck thread on HotAir is expected given the readers’ interest. But leaving it up front so long is nonsensical. It isn’t as if Beck IS the news, or that he is consistent on any record.

More importantly, it isn’t as if sexual preference defines anyone’s right to be employed or participate in government. So far as elected officials go, it’s between them, their families, and their constituents. And Massa’s sexual preference is all that Beck’s and King’s fans wanted discussed or blasted.

Breaking rules requires redress. I take it from the lack of headline stating otherwise that Beck failed to ask Massa about the meaning that Massa gives to the Congressional Rules of Decorum regarding sexual conduct between members of Congress and Congressional Aides. Being bisexual is not what mattered; sexual misconduct according to the rules is the point.

Selective application of the law requires redress. If Congress and the House Speaker are using rules to evict Massa from office, then the same application of Congressional Rules pertaining to the legislative process (Byrd’s blasted “reconciliation” for balanced budget) must be applied as well to maintain consistency. And visa versa. “Nancy’s” House is establishing illegal precedence, negotiating to IGNORE and break the rules written by Thomas Jefferson obeyed all these years prior to Obama’s election. To ignore and break one rule automatically establishes precedence to break any or all rules, “rules” having lost effective credibility.

Better do a little research my friend…I comment on many things on this blog…beck is only one, and a minor one…maybe a couple of dozen, certainly many many less then posts about Ron Paul, Guiliani, Romney, McCain, Palin, Huck, Pelosi, Reid, Obama, wRangle, Kennedy, Edwards, Reid, Feinstein, Boxer, Biden, Reagan (okay, I will give you that one), truthers, birthers, etc. Looks like a lot of “fixation”…now see how you little Beck bots look making such foolish statements?

When you are in the middle of a tempest, you loses track of facts.

The Beck Massa program was a rare event indeed. We have come to the point where news is one pundit talking over another pundit about the state of the world and very little hard news reporting.

Spin has replaced news to the extent no one wants to hear from the source anymore. Skip the source and do the thinking for the public.

I hope Beck keeps on taking chances. Massa was a ‘flop’ because he did not say what the spinners wanted?

That’s what I thought.
And I honestly think that this was good to have Massa on.
It showed what he really is: a creepy evasive little liar.
Sure Beck was giving him a chance maybe he shouldn’t have gotten.
But I think the American public can figure out that something is fishy here.
I do not think this will hurt Beck.
Bcs if nothing he has done up until now has hurt his ratings, this won’t.
I thought it was boring after a bit & turned it off.
But it cemented my opinion of Massa: lying crap weasle

A complete debacle, and completely riveting

I disagree it was a debacle. I agree it was riveting. I taped the show and intend to watch it again

Everyone else was writing speculation on Massa. Beck put him up for us to see, and cross examined him into a snot ball. The Crossing the Line book (and I think Fox blurred the pics, I will have to re reun and check) was truly latent as well as blatant

Beck argued to Massa, if Massa had been ruined, why not name names, putting Massa into a tailspin.

I did a quick check on Massa. He worked as a Republican aide, then went Dem and worked for Wesley Clark before finding his niche.

Now that I better understand the gym scene in Congress, it comes together better.

Beck uses a blackboard for talking points. At the end of the program, he stated we had learned a lot, but had not met one of his objectives on the board – did it help the people?
