PPP: Obama’s approval rating now negative in every red state that flipped in 2008
posted at 6:25 pm on March 1, 2010 by Allahpundit
-In Colorado a recent Rasmussen poll found his approval at 45/53. Research 2000 found his favorability at 46/47 in January.
-In Florida Rasmussen found his approval at 45/54 and Quinnipiac’s latest found it at 45/49.
-In Indiana Rasmussen has his approval at 44/54 and Research 2000 finds his favorability at 46/49…
-In Nevada Rasmussen finds his approval at 46/54. We found 44/52 in in January.
There are nine states in all but I’m giving you numbers for four where there’s a Democrat in trouble in the local Senate race and The One will be expected to — giggle — campaign for him. It’s working for Reid, isn’t it? In fact, just this afternoon, the White House declared its support for Blanche Lincoln (whose own red state did not flip) against newly minted lefty primary challenger Bill Halter. Why they’d do that instead of staying out of the race entirely is beyond me — the Obama imprimatur will be pure liability if she makes it to the general — but that’s the canniness we’ve come to expect after their successes in Virginia, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.
With the bludgeon of reconciliation now being wielded in earnest, I think it’s officially time to start predictions on where The One’s approval rating will settle if they push ObamaCare through. Over/under is 41.

Nov will sure be interesting if he loses the house and/or senate. Are they going to try and push through crap and tax and card check? This administration is in a free fall. Since Zero is already putting his 2012 campaign we should see if he’s going to be challenged by a dem next year some time. Interesting times ahead that’s for sure.

You will never get less than 40% overall due to the stupid factor, and the “Democrat For Life, no matter what” factor.

And to think it wasn’t so long ago in the wake of the Presidential election that we had to endure liberals crowing that we’d spend 40 years in the desert and that America had proven itself a liberal country and that we’d be relegated to near-permanent minority status in the New Age Of Obama.

The Precedent is guaranteed to get approval from:
90% of blacks: 32 million
60% of hispanics: 28 million
60% of Jews: 3.5 million
20% of the rest: 40 million
His approximate floor of approval consists of around 104 million total idiots == 33%, give or take.
The Precedent’s approval will hit 37% by the middle of summer.

Imagine all your info came from NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN and the NY Times. You’d probably think Obama was better than Washington. And for many people that is the only place they get news and hence you still have close to 50% approval.

Its because he is a progressive socialist. He is, and the progressive left have been deconstructing America since the early 1900′s. It goes to show ya how hypnotize the voting public was by the Saul Lewinsky Playbook and Obama’s charismatic personality of “Hope and Change”. Wow, I still shake my head that people were that stupid. The only positive part of this is now those same people are starting to wake up. Lets pray that it is noy to late.

But they were the only group whose approval of The Precedent actually increased through 2009. THey might well be saying different things to pollsters than in private, but this is a question about what the polls will reflect. I hope that they are just lying to the pollsters, but I haven’t gotten that impression, myself – though speaking to me and speaking to pollsters might not be that different, in terms of those answers.

Obama has to know his presence with these dems, is not helping these dems. So why does he keep doing it? At this point, it has to be intentional. He wants them to lose. But why?
capejasmine on March 1, 2010 at 7:01 PM
If they do this 51% thing it totally changes the rules of the Senate. We’re going to end up with two Houses of Representatives instead of a real Senate. Well what goes around comes around. Libs won’t get any more judges through in a Republican White house AND we’ll repeal this socialistic sacrilege.
Mojave Mark on March 1, 2010 at 7:02 PM
Here’s the Dems and BO’s thinking; OK, so we were a little late on realizing the concern of the majority of Americans about the economy. So, let’s pass a “jobs bill”. The people will see that we addressed this serious issue. Alrighty, put a check box next to the economy and let’s get back to health care!

Because they are just useful idiots to him, and he wants, first and foremost, to sow chaos in our nation. He’s done as much as he can through Dem help in the most insane legislative processes this nation has ever seen, but that tank is about empty. He would be happier, now, to jettison the useless dems and start having full-blown wars between the Executive and Congress.
With The Precedent, it’s always about how he can cause more chaos or do more damage to the US. That is all he cares about.

While his approval ratings will go below 35%, his votes never will. The ethnic makeup of America ensures that. Left wing voters will say they are disillusioned with obama, but only because he wasn’t left wing enough for them. But come election time, they will support their dog in the fight.

steveegg on March 1, 2010 at 7:12 PM
I don’t see him dropping below 40% until he raises taxes on everyone. Then he’ll be in a freefall. Ramming Obamacare will doom him with independents and Republicans, but it’ll solidify his support with most Dems. So honestly I don’t see much changing in his poll numbers. But the bottom line is he ain’t getting reelected if he’s in the low 40′s(or worse) come 2012.

Oh, it’s happening. Anyone who thinks otherwise better check themselves. The real question is not whether Obama will raise taxes on the middle class. It’s whether or not it will be limited to the repeal of the Bush tax cuts.
I’m sure this is in no small part why they’re so desperate to ram Obamacare through. Once he has to raise taxes, his political capital will be nonexistent. This is it for the Dems and they know it.
Doughboy on March 1, 2010 at 7:33 PM
Which would be a problem if all the icebergs hadn’t melted…at least according to the liberals, there is no problem, none at all…and no icebergs either…
right2bright on March 1, 2010 at 7:36 PM
Not so fast. 50% of people pay $0 income tax. Of the 50% that pays taxes, 10% pay 70% of taxes. Which means that Obama could raise taxes on “everyone” but most people won’t even notice.
angryed on March 1, 2010 at 7:36 PM
Poor Blanche! Allah, I’m totally with you on this one. Why oh why did he feel compelled to pick either of the primary contenders? I cannot figure out who is advising him (or not). Will all of the tell-all books that will surely be written describe the endless scenes of individuals or groups trying to talk some sense into the POTUS?
DrStock on March 1, 2010 at 7:44 PM

I don’t think there is any help for the chronic Kool Aide drinkers. They need some kind of 12 step program, that starts with stepping back.
