If I was an intelligence agency with “double players” I would probably want to safe guard them too.

Leave the enemy guessing who is who, they have been infiltrated, they know it, and we know it. The Jordanian who blew up the C.I.A. agents “Khost Base” in January was “double”

Let the Taliban and Alqeada worry about who else is playing both sides. Sow doubt – create chaos in the ranks.

The USA does not have an intelligence-gathering interrogation program.

We have no capacity to interrogate terrorists who are captured.

It sure would be good for us if the enemy believes that, let them underestimate our capabilities. But the truth is The Center of Gravity for the C.I.A. etc…is Af/Pak.

Realizing that you are doing a little sticking it in the eye of the “O” admin over interrogations, you must realize the real reason the HIG isn’t there is because during the first part of the interrogation no one needs a HIG person with a satellite phone speed dialed to a DOJ lawyer, who once protected terrorists. Any decent former detective on contract with the CIA or a professional agent can stand by and take notes as the Pak’s pound the living pee out of the suspect. It’s done all the time.

Obama’s entire technique revolves around theatre. It is rather dismaying.

Well, if you threw 330 parties in your house over the course of a year, jetted off to Copenhagen twice, Asia once, the “Muslim” countries once, and the United Kingdom & Europe at least once, not to mention date nights in New York, and at least four campaign stops in various states and appearances in several others, all the while dodging the press…

you wouldn’t have time for piddly little things like setting up HIG’s either.

Unfortunately, Allah, it is as bad as it looks. Like you, I try to give the benefit of the doubt to those who I think have America’s best interest at heart, but this group of ding bats running the show have shown too often now that they are not up to the job. It wouldn’t surprise me if we never get to question these guys due to the fact that Pakistan and the ISI will do what is necessary to keep us from learning the depths of their involvement in giving sanctuary and support to the terrorists.

Yet more time sensitive intelligence being lost by the sheer incompetence of the Obama administration.

Every delay in questioning him gives the Taliban more and more time to change their activities in order to minimise the damage Baradar can cause.

By the time the HIG gets involved, the names, locations, plans that Baradar in now privy to will no longer be in place. Squandering high value intelligence like this is an outrage: one that will cost the lives of US and allied servicemen.

We keep hearing about the “ticking bomb scenario”- with the Obama administration running things the first anyone will hear of an attack is not the bomb ticking down, it’ll be its detonation.
