Valerie Jarrett: Maybe we should try talking to tea partiers in simpler terms

posted at 1:49 pm on February 23, 2010 by Allahpundit

In fairness, although the questioner asks specifically about TPers, she seems to think that talking to everyone in simpler terms would be a good idea. Which is a standard lefty dodge. Just as Obama’s supposedly going down the tubes because he hasn’t been aggressive enough in building Great Society II, the ObamaCare meltdown is due not to public antipathy to the bill on the merits but to the failure of our American Pericles to properly explain it the first 8,000 times he talked about it on camera. It’s a teachable moment — everything is — and he simply hasn’t taught yet. No worries, though. He’ll get it through our thick heads one of these days.

As for her point about tea partiers preying on people’s economic anxiety in their own “extreme” way, compare and contrast with what she said about Palin’s mild “hopey changey” joke on Obama supporters a few weeks ago as being not “constructive.” Enjoy a few minutes of constructiveness.

Valerie Jarrett strikes me as an individual who thinks very highly of herself and surrounds herself with people who kiss her ass 24/7.

Essentially, she’s female Obama.

Realistically, she’s a very, very foolish and petty human being.

Red Cloud on February 23, 2010 at 2:14 PM

I’ve got a very simple phrase you could use Valerie:

“We should be listening to you. Our bad.”

darii on February 23, 2010 at 2:14 PM

Ahh…now we understand it, it is Obama’s Burden. That is educating and assiting the mass of inferior folks like the Tea Partiers.

Really, you cannot make this stuff up. It couldn’t be that Obama and Rahm and crew are the ones that are two sandwiches short of a picnic in the thinking area?? Nah..it is Obama’s Burden

It wont be the proposal which wins on merit. It’ll be the population so utterly flabbergasted, exhausted from the incessant liberal word vomit that we prefer tyranny over torture. “If we just talk more, and slower!”;-)

profitsbeard on February 23, 2010 at 2:22 PM

What is basically being projected here is that we’re a threat to them. So, I say, let’s keep on the pressure! Make them defend themselves, since they’re so smart. Let’s see if those intellectuals can keep up with us in the realm of ideas.

We hold the advantage. They have Marx, Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Alinsky et. al. A playbook, when you break it down.

We, on the other hand, have the Documents that created this Nation, and the writings of those who founded it. Plus, own own ideas. All that is our strength. Free people bring much to the table, like a big family get-together and every household cooks up a dish for the feast. Call it pot luck, maybe?

Among libs, their menu, as it were, is just a variation on franks-and-beans.

Good lord, I have a Masters in Health Administration and I know more about federal health care than anyone in the White House.

I’m completely opposed to this plan, not due to a lack of comprehension, but because I believe in freedom rather than in a federal leviathan owning an industry that is so personal and vital to every American.

Why have the voters foisted upon us an “administration” that clearly has so little regard for the people they purport to govern?

She is all of the above. She is the priveleged daughter of a prominent Chicago black activist (some suggest an active Communist in fact), and leveraged her famous bloodline into a lucrative “real estate” (i.e. slum housing) business and political connections that paid off when she hit the jackpot with the Obamas. Her sense of entitlement and superiority is obvious every time she opens her mouth.

And that was the point of what I wrote earlier in comments (as to asking if Valerie Jarrett was promoting Ebonics…or ‘Obonics’).

Valerie Jarrett’s state of mind exists in an unquestioning negative stereotyping of “Tea Partiers” as being incapable of understanding HER or Obama’s grandiosity (they’re so smart, anyone who questions them is so dumb, thus, the necessity to speak down to others because of their ‘limited capacity’).

It’s Jarrett’s racism peeking through…

The inventor of such a racist screed, a Black guy himself, assumes the negative stereotype that by race, by sheer DNA, that someone of African-ancestry “can’t” or is incapable of understanding and using English. It’s the “my race compels me to be incapable” (or “stupid” or “dimwitted” or intellectually inferior or whatever) negative stereotype.

Affirmative Action must, by its nature, go to the lowest common denominator.

If there’s a ‘low level’ minority who isn’t making the grade, the first assumption is that he’s a ‘victim’. The fix?

Promote the last to the top of the list. See how fair we all are? Those better than that last one are passed over, almost invariably. Why, you ask?

Because they’re Uncle Toms!

See how that works among liberals?

Left alone, people will get along in most social situations (no, you libs, I don’t have to right 1000% of the time…here’s shock–you’re wrong all the time, too)

Free people like us, we being different from the rest of an oppressive world, get along on our own. We see it all the time.

Libs don’t get that. They’re like a proverbial rich girl who marries the ‘perfect man’, then spends the rest of her life trying to ‘improve’ him.

Those of you not familiar with Chicago may not be informed as to the consumate perfidy of Jarrett. Jarrett is a serious contender the most “connected” mobbed-up Daley crony to ever reach national prominence, considering Rahm and Bill Daley that is hallowed company.

In Chicago as the saying goes, “nobody wants nobody, nobody sent.” As you can see here via Muckety Muck’s interactive map, Val has been “sent” by the who’s-who of Chi-town insiders.

http://www.muckety.com/Valerie-B-Jarrett/4675.muckety

You cannot (just as Barack could not) play paddy-cake on this playground without seriouly greased palms. Uncompromised pols are not tolerated in the windy city for perfectly logical reasons, if you are called to testify about dirt on anybody else, they need to know that there is enough dirt on you to ensure your silence. No dirt and you’re not allowed in the sand-box. So the farther you are allowed to rise is directly concurrent with how enmeshed you are in mutual shanannigans, this is the safty valve built into the plumbing through which graft and favors flow through the sewers of Chicago politics.

As we ca see, Valerie has many playmates as she has played so well with others. Now that we have established the Daley Center on the Potomac, she has risen very high indeed.

As i have rambled on long enough for one post, I will delve into the details of it, but we should also keep in mind the tri-fecta of 3 top Chicago communists of the past that groomed the triad of duplicitous do-gooders doing dastardly deeds ensconced in the Oval.

Vernon Jarret mentored Valerie Jarrett
Don Rose mentored David Axelrod
Frank Marshall Davis mentored Barack Obama

These connections to three of the top members of the CPUSA are not just coincidental, and they are fundamental to actions we see today coming from the White House.

Jarrett attempts to bring herself down to the lower levels of comprehension she attempts to paint onto the Tea Partiers’ intellectual grasp of issues at hand by offering what she perceives to be a similar experience from when she first became involved in the Obama administration, when words like “cloture” were bandied about.

That action in and of itself was so obviously condescending that it was probably offensive to a lot of everyday folk. It is precisely this ‘elitist’ attitude and approach that is so off-putting. Talking down to people does nothing more than expose the phony and highly manipulative intentions of Obama’s “Inner Circle” of advisors. Why they’re putting Jarret out there to do serious public relations work just escapes me, and reinforces the overall perception of clueless natures of Obama and his administration, and just how disconnected they are from American voters.

KendraWilder on February 23, 2010 at 2:53 PM

It’s Jarrett’s racism peeking through…

Lourdes on February 23, 2010 at 2:37 PM

I think in this case it’s delusions of grandeur rather than racism. They’re just so much smarter than the rest of us.

God save us from such people.

rockmom on February 23, 2010 at 2:39 PM

I think in their cases (Jarrett’s, Obama’s, etc.’s) cases it’s racism that rests upon their inate delusions of grandeur (“I’m bigger, better, smarter than you and it’s INATE that I’m superior/supreme, I was born this way” yaddayaddayadda).

They’re laced through and through with Black Supremacy and it’s largely what their delusions of grandiosity are based upon, and why they seem to feel without hesitation so entirely “entitled” to “rule” as Jarrett declared she/Obama were “ready to” do on “taking the White House”.

I can’t say which is the chicken, which is the egg, though (their racism, their delusions of grandeur). Maybe it’s more like they’re throwing up mutant hash on the morning of America…

Lourdes on February 23, 2010 at 2:56 PM

maybe we tea partiers should try talking to the white house clowns in ebonics….

jbh45 on February 23, 2010 at 1:55 PM

How did you leap from simpler terms to ebonics?

Narutoboy on February 23, 2010 at 2:58 PM

Man, I guess I wasted that public ivy edumacation i lavished on myself. Guess I shoulda choz a collige more “progressive” than Berkeley, eh?

READ “OBAMA FILE 84“…

Lourdes on February 23, 2010 at 2:18 PM

Bingo. There is no doubt who are President really is and where he came from.

chunderroad on February 23, 2010 at 2:43 PM

And yet, Bill O’Reilly declares anyone “a loon” and among “the fringe” if/as we — as O’Reilly refers to Barack Obama — “call the President a Communist”. D’oh, Obama IS a Communist and so is Valerie Jarrett. O’Reilly’s either helping them out or he’s, well, he’s just pitiful in these absurd, irrational declarations of more negative stereotyping to try to steer people emotionally past reality.

Obamanomics For Dummies..coming soon to a check counter near you!

“You may have heard something about a superior being arriving in America last year who everyone loves and adores. He is your president and his name is Barack Obama. B-A-R-A-C-K O-B-A-M-A. You should trust and love him..he is your friend. This story will help you understand how you too can love and worship Barack, and help make America great again.”

DrW on February 23, 2010 at 3:00 PM

Try this, Barry: “Me want health care. You like.”

Daggett on February 23, 2010 at 3:00 PM

All these people will be around saying foolish things until after the November Elections. Jarret is a fulfilling the useful idiots role in the White House. I know, I know, I thought Joe Biden, was taking care of that department just fine. It looks like they got him some back up.

No Nation in history has done what we have: Changed racial differences by popular vote. All others have gone through armed hell, instituting pogroms and ‘ethnic cleaning’.

WE alone, Americans, have gone beyond use of armed force to effect genuine change, one that matters in the evolution of our society.

Liberals always, and in every way, seek to draw us back to the 19th Century. Marx is so 19th Century. We, by our liberty, turned sweatshops into jobs that actually pay a fair wage.

We, maybe not ahead but surely ‘part’ of the future, were at the forefront of women’s suffrage.

We didn’t have everything right the first time, you vile libs, but we evolved. We became better over time, like your concept of Social Darwinism. You fought for that, when liberalism was worth something, but now you ignore that to make a socialist point.

All you libs do is look to the past, selectively at that. Come into the 21st Century, if you dare.

What part of “No!” does President Toonces and his staff not understand?

Old Fritz on February 23, 2010 at 2:43 PM

The Tea Partiers are descendents of Pioneers, who came to America, asking for nothing from government but to be left alone…The pioneers and their chidren built the greatest nation on earth….Before, big government took over by taking from productive individuals and businesses and squandering trillions on wasteful government programs. Government at all levels is now spending five trillion per year. They are bankrupt, they are sqaundering our children’s financial future, they are debasing our currency, they are corrupting our children, they are breeding dependance rather than self reliance, they are working completely against the founding principles of America that made us a great nation. You don’t understand or belive any of this Valerie but we know it…And, you and everyone else in Washington are going to come to know who Tea Partiers are and what we stand for…

Nozzle on February 23, 2010 at 3:02 PM

Val, we understand what you’re saying. You could use pictograms and playacting, and we wouldn’t like your message any better.

Though I think a physical demonstration of what the government is trying to do to us might be rated R.

hawksruleva on February 23, 2010 at 3:02 PM

If the administration used smaller words and spoke slower, then Valerie might understand what they’re talking about.

Whitest black chick in America.

Jaibones on February 23, 2010 at 3:03 PM

Typical of David Brooks’ Elites. So out of touch and blinded by their ideology, they think rephrasing the argument in single syllable words for the ‘simple’ people will change minds.

Hey, dumbass!! We understand and reject your crap! Prepare for the storm this Nov!!

But could any group of people ever write enough simple booklets that would make me as smart as Valerie and Barack??

All I can hope to do is suffer and do without to help pays the awful price of their great burden of superhuman intelligence. God knows they will make me suffer and do without no matter what.
