Ahmadinejad: Iran will deliver a telling blow on February 11

Considering all the action the UN — action being nothing but UN sanctions and letters saying to stop, pretty please — has taken against Iran, shouldn’t this have been taken care of already? Shockingly, it looks like the all-talk-no-action approach is failing.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says the nation will deliver a harsh blow to the “global arrogance” on this year’s anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
“The Islamic Revolution opened a window to liberty for the human race, which was trapped in the dead ends of materialism,” Ahmadinejad said during a cabinet meeting on Sunday.
“If the Islamic Revolution had not occurred, liberalism and Marxism would have crushed all human dignity in their power-seeking and money-grubbing claws. Nothing would have remained of human and spiritual principles,” he added.
Ahmadinejad said that in the three decades of its history, the Islamic Revolution had inspired some great developments in the world.
Can’t say that I’m too surprised, really. France has been tougher on Iran than we have been. Ahmadinejad has been testing us and testing the world, and what have we showed him? We’ve showed him that we’ll negotiate and issue UN sanctions (that won’t be enforced) and send “stern letters” asking him to stop. Under the Obama administration, Iran has become bolder and bolder. They’ve become a bigger threat than ever. So what will Obama’s reaction to this new threat from Ahmadinejad be? Ask him to come to the US for a beer summit so they can work out their differences?
Obama has no understanding of the gravity of this situation, yet he’s our Commander in Chief. He holds the security of our nation in his hands. And when we are getting threatened by Iran over and over and over again, his response has been to basically do nothing each time. He’s got no courage whatsoever, and while Iran might not make us first on their list of countries to attack (I believe that would be Israel), they will attack somewhere and people will be killed that didn’t need to die. It might not necessarily happen on February 11th, but if Obama doesn’t start taking Ahmadinejad seriously and dealing with the situation now, then we’re going to have much bigger problems from Iran than stolen elections.

The Shi’ite clowns in Iran have a messiah myth, the Mahdi, that they believe will return to rule and guide the world in a time of global chaos and destruction, and their president is a member of a group dedicated to deliberately bringing about that chaos and destruction.
And yes, we are a primary target.

I’m sure Obama will send Iran a sternly worded letter outlining that if there is a “telling blow’ Ahmadinejad will have to write “I will not destroy America.” 100 times!
Or does that qualify as torture?

Alas, Mr. Obama is incapable of taking action because the entire concept of solving problems and then implementing an actual solution is completely alien to him.
All he knows how to do is talk. Our enemies have sized him up and know he will do nothing.

Nope.
Iran’s Anti-Christ Superstar (Mahdi) mythology aside, Mahmood isn’t quoted as saying he’d be willing to see 50% of his own population die to fight America. He said that he’d do it to see the final extermination of the Jews. That, and a strike on the US with a missile would be nearly impossible. Their ICBM program is still rough, and doubtlessly primitive, when compared to ours. Even with Soviet (Russsian) help, they’d stand very little chance of firing a missile that could really threaten the CONUS, even with our current bumbler in chief asleep under his desk. Only through terrorists or military personnel smuggling a device in, is that more likely to happen. Pointing out Israel’s geographic size is just plain stupid on par with Obama, when he used that line about Iran. “Tiny” Israel defeated the ENTIRE MIDDLE EAST AT ONCE, or don’t you remember that? And they did it in less than a week (ii.e.Six Days). They still weep and gnash their teeth over that laughable ass whipping. The enemy of the muslim is the Jew, primarily, in their minds, and they’ve got the world’s biggest supply of them right next door. Israel MAY be a nuclear power (prove it), but probably don’t have the layers upon layers of defenses the US has against that kind of attack.

Mr. Ahmadinejad,
Go ahead and do your worst. But before you do, know this.
“The Trident D-5 has a maximum range of 12,000 km (7,456 miles), similar to that of silo-based systems, and has a payload as large as 2,800 kg. Its payload carries a Post-Boost Vehicle (PBV) which can carry 8 to 12 Reentry Vehicles (RVs), though the first Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START I) limits the number to eight. These RVs can either be the Mk 4 with a W76 100 kT yield warhead or the Mk 5, which has a W88 475 kT yield warhead. The missile is almost certainly equipped with countermeasures. The system uses an inertial navigation system combined with a stellar reference system that provides an extremely high accuracy of 90 m CEP. The missile has a length of 13.42 m, a width of 2.11 m, and a launch weight of 59,090 kg. It uses a three-stage solid propellant engine.”
That’s a description for the business end of a Trident D5 missile. Each missile can deploy 8 nuclear weapons during its flight. Fly…drop…fly…drop, you get the point. Each Ohio class Submarine carries 24 of these missiles. We have 14 Ohio class Submarines.
How many Submarines do you have?

Showed ‘em?
Showed ‘em, real good!

I wouldn’t expect they’d try an ICBM. We have deliberately porous borders and ports, and the world knows it.
And yes, Israel is first on their list.
And no, I don’t care that Iran’s Liar-in-Chief has kept his Twelver enthusiasm “unquoted,” his affiliations are clear, and you can’t honestly think he gives a damn for the suffering of his own people.

“Feb 11 – Tonight, Iran claimed responsibility for the explosions which today rocked Israel, France and the United States. President Obama has just announced that these actions were inevitable, given the numerous reckless and unlawful behaviors of the previous US Administration…”

The mouse that roared. It’s a shame we didn’t build a better mouse trap. Perhaps one of our allies in the region will make this Ahmadinejad’s last day. The current Iranian regime is not well liked in the region and it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if something untoward were to happen to this precarious mouse that won’t listen to reason. Special note must be considered that along with his message is the term he used for materialism. What is defined as materialism to one culture may not exactly translate into a similar yet different culture. Is Iran ready to disrupt the entire regions commerce trade? This could very well be a Sunni – Shiite confrontation. What better way to demonstrate your insanity and not expose your flank?

Imanutjob had one thing right, Reagan won in part due to their attack on our embassy. Who knows what would have happened had Jimmah gotten another term? I shudder to think the possibilities: Russia smashes Afghanistan and set its sights on the Middle East, Israel and NATO, while Jimmah wimpers under the Oval Office desk. Our economy continues tanking… That’s just for starters. Yeah. Liberalism and Marxism crushing all human and spiritual resistance.
But he’s wrong about Shia saving the world. If and when Mahdi spawns, he’s going to find himself sent back to hell post-haste. Obummer had better hope and pray that he’s out of office by then – impeachment for treason and dereliction of duty won’t be pretty. On second thot, he’d better haul tail out of this country, ala Aristide or Mobutu, for sanctuary in Norway or wherever they’ll take him. Cuz if these libtards think they can prosecute Bush/Cheney over Iraq, then prosecuting Obambi/Biden is definitely fairplay for willfully palavering w/the enemy instead of containing Imanutjob.
