Next loser that Obama will campaign for? Harry Reid

posted at 10:04 pm on January 21, 2010 by Allahpundit

You sure know how to pick ‘em, champ. Between the impending collapse of ObamaCare and the “Game Change” unpleasantness, this may end up being the single most awkward campaign rally in modern political history.

President Obama will appear with politically embattled Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) in Las Vegas next month, according to a White House official.

While it is not clear whether the appearance will be overtly political, any appearance by the president in Reid’s home state is likely to be seen as an effort to buck up Reid’s re-election effort.

“And now I’d like to introduce my friend Harry Reid, whose list of accomplishments includes, uh, ummmmmm…” It’s a sign of how weak Dingy is that he still needs buoying up by an ever-weakening Obama: The one’s approval rating is in negative territory for the first time ever today in a PPP poll, and in Nevada his favorable rating — which is almost always higher than his approval numbers — is currently stuck at 38/47 in Pollster.com’s poll of polls. Needless to say, Reid’s is one of the eight seats that Larry Sabato’s momentarily projecting the GOP to pick up in November.

Exit question: Notwithstanding how reliably liberal he is, given the current political climate, if he wasn’t majority leader would Reid be a no vote on ObamaCare?

Hope the Democrats don’t realize to soon that while Obama stretches out his hand to help his other hand holds a sickle.

It’s okay Democrats. Don’t fear the reaper.

sure, Obama can go off on a Las Vegas junket to stump for Dingy Harry, just don’t let him see any rich bank, insurance company or automobile company CEO’s fly any of their private jets on any such trips.

kscheuller on January 22, 2010 at 12:14 AM

Can’t wait for Obama’s magic touch to turn what’s left of Harry’s into a steaming pile of sh!t. The arrogant bastage just can’t stop himself. I’ll have to send a Thank You gift if he keeps this up.

CantCureStupid on January 22, 2010 at 12:30 AM

Barack Hussein Obama surrounds himself with losers.

His first nominations for positions in his administration were losers.

His pet personal agenda bills are losers.

He campaigns for losers.

Barack Hussein Obama is just a big fat zero, and he’s dragging this entire country down with his sinking ship.

The question is which one of them would help the other…Will Obama help Reid’s popularity reach 30% or will Reid help Obama’s popularity reach 30%. Or more likely will the two of them together reach 20% each.

Please, let the kiss of political death come to WA and campaign for Patty Murray…

Up here, I know some who are hoping Obama will grab Gov Gregoire for some post like Homeland Security, or Asst Sec of State, and stimulate WA out of it’s liberal Dem misery.

Obama’s already head hunted ex-gov for Commerce and ex King County for HUD or something like that… There’s plenty more like them to be ‘taken’ around here… Regular hunting tags on many of these sorts of liberal dufus’s don’t come up till some November down the road….

Most of WA’ll take any shortcuts Obama wants to make available… Consider it a stimulus package….

Look, when all you have is a shovel and a mountain of cow discharge, well, you go into the manure business. The Dummicraps don’t have a lot to work with here. All they have is a little Eau d’ Bama and it pretty much stinks on ice. Reid should spread himself in the garden. The flowers would grow like mad to gat away from the stench.

Pepperoni and Reid are both gonners.

Absolutely, He had the bad luck of being the democrat senate leader when the first radical marxist black (or half black) president was elected. That is a no win scenario my friends. I am not trying to defend Reid, but he really has been backed into a corner. And his entire political career has been pretty centrist.

conservnut on January 22, 2010 at 7:55 AM

Ain’t this delicious? Dingy Harry doesn’t have the stones to tell Barrack Hussein Obama (“mmmmmmm…mmmmmmm…mmmmmm”) to stay away because Harry’s radioactive enough on his own. A good question to ask is how many other Democrats are going to tell BHO to stay the hell away?

If he shows up far enough ahead of the elections, he won’t be “tied” to the election as a campaigner.
You won’t see Obama the last couple of weeks of Reid’s campaign, you won’t see anyone near him…
