"Brown’s win was a big step in the right direction for the GOP. Brown is not a wingnut like Rush Limbaugh or a moron like Sarah Palin. It remains to be seen if the GOP can get more Scott Browns in November or if they will field more Sarah Palin/Joe the Plumber/Sean Hannity/Michele Bachmann type nut boxes.

Brown looks good on camera and speaks intelligently when asked questions. He does not spend a lot of time on Fox News and comes across as a reasonable, level headed, person. The test will be if he starts to appear on Fox News more than once per month or attends Tea parties. If so, he is toast. If not, he could be a major GOP force. If you recall George Bush was not a Fox News type of Republican and won two terms as President. I am not saying Brown will be President but this is a good start if he can stay away from the wingnut forces that are running the GOP."

LOL! Like the MSM, he thinks that Republicans can be tolerated only as long as they go along with the progressive agenda.

I was on Drudge where he had the vote count update and Scott's name was on the bottom but I was happy he was ahead. Second time I went to the site, Scott's name was on top but I only checked the numbers and saw that the bottom numbers were lower than the top - I WAS PETRIFIED!!! Then I saw Scott's name next to the higher numbers and I felt better, and then way better, and then felt FANTASTIC.

Way to go Scott!

Thanks MA for helping turn back the tied for a better America.

I tried posting last night and for some reason the site kept hiccuping my posts back at me.

All I can say is THANK YOU SCOTT BROWN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still can't believe this is happening.

You know, I'm enjoying a very simple sandwich for lunch today but watching all the lefties over at Kos and HP eating crow is making my lunch taste live a five-star meal. :D :D :D

Brown’s win was a big step in the right direction for the GOP.

Well, that certainly was a case of damning with faint praise -- or was it praising with strong damnation?

With all respect, what Brown did was to leverage the anger of the People at a government which insists on spending far beyond its means -- risking us all landing in the modern day debtor's prison caused by borrowing from our kids to create for ourselves a public debt double or triple what it was when our generation first came into power.

Joe the Plumber stated his dream -- to be left alone to earn the money he needs to expand his business. At the time, Obama claimed richness (the people who can afford to pay for the rest of us) would be measured at income levels above $250,000. The latest legislation drops that level to $75,000, and I suspect that number alarms a lot of people.

To put it bluntly, Brown's message was identical to that of Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, and Joe the Plumber -- get the Government out of our wallets! And, to paraphrase another famous American, "he won!".

And to the earlier poster, yes I think Hissy Chrissy was drunk and wee-weeing down his leg by the end.

Of course, he blamed it on those male chauvinist Mass. voters who couldn't vote for a woman. Like the guy who drove a woman into a river and let her drown?

Olberdouche, not so much. It looked like his eyeballs were beginning to melt. And to the earlier poster, yes I think Hissy Chrissy was drunk and wee-weeing down his leg by the end. They can’t believe they lost this seat.

Interestingly enough, most there seem to think Obama and the Democraps have not been progressive enough, and this is why they lost. Similar to the rhetoric of many here that McCain, for example was not conservative enough.
