Kerry: These dangerous Palinite “teabaggers” certainly are revved up

posted at 5:20 pm on January 18, 2010 by Allahpundit

A more cynical pundit might see this as a hamfisted attempt to manufacture a distraction amid electoral collapse. Good thing I’m not a cynic.

This ought to finish Coakley off with independents. Thanks, Waffles.

“I’m no stranger to hard fought campaigns, but what we’ve seen in the past few days is way over the line and reminiscent of the dangerous atmosphere of Sarah Palin’s 2008 campaign rallies. This is not how democracy works in Massachusetts,” Kerry said this afternoon in a statement.

“Scott Brown needs to speak up and get his out of state tea party supporters under control. In Massachusetts, we fight hard and win elections on the issues and on our differences, not with bullying and threats,” Kerry said.

Brown campaign spokesman Felix Browne said, “People are tired of John Kerry’s partisan politics. His baseless accusations reflect the desperate last gasps of a flailing campaign.”

“Scott Brown is running a positive campaign and has been since the beginning of the race,” Browne said in an emailed statement.

Supposedly Brown’s rallies are “dangerous” because one guy at one rally yelled a tasteless joke about Coakley that referenced her decision not to prosecute a gruesome case of child rape that later earned the rapist two life terms. Evidently Kerry’s more offended by the joke than the genuinely dangerous professional negligence by his pal Martha that inspired it. Three cheers for partisanship.

Oh, as for the “teabagger” crap, see here. Not the first U.S. Senator to try to mainstream that term, and certainly not the last.

How about the trials?

Isn’t that just like Kerry, he totally marginilizes the fact that people in Massachusetts might be SICK of Obama and his socialist party. He wants to pretend this is some slick right wing movement instead of facing the fact that “THE PEOPLE” don’t want what the liberals and Obama are trying to push down our throats. Maybe Massachusetts wants to be remembered as THE STATE THAT SAVED THE COUNTRY!
I hope the people of Massachusetts stand up tomorrow and vote for Brown.

By the way isn’t Kerry the guy that LIED about throwing his war medals over the White House fence? What an elitist, useless waste of humanity.

Note to AP, draw pictures, diagrams, schematics, treasure maps, and they still won’t get it.

conservnut on January 18, 2010 at 5:58 PM

i think the simple response to any use of the term ‘teabagger’ by a dem. would be for the rep. to simply clarify the term for those who don’t know. for example on x tv rant show after term is used:

“for those in the audience who do not know, the term teabagging refers to the practice of a man dangling his testicles in the mouth of his partner. originally in sexual practice with his female partner; but extended to cases of ‘jokes/pranks’ at parties on sleeping people male or female. just thought you should know exactly what our democratic friend likes to talk about and reference in his political discourse.”

or something like that. it could be phrased better, but just in a simple and matter of fact way clarify it for the vast majority who don’t know. sure the libs would just chuckle, but it would sure as hell turn off the ‘independents’ and the like. and it is the dems term, so they would lose.

Yes … he was part of little known, FAILED pilot program to embed Libtards into bold fighting units in an effort to increase their testosterone, honesty, and intestinal fortitude.

It was a miserable failure and participants like Kerry suffered deep problems ranging from fabricating stories about combat in Cambodia – to feigning wounds and demanding Purple Heart awards.

And it did NOTHING to increase testosterone, honor, honesty, or intestinal fortitude.

I think Danny Glover was in the same program.

Healthcare isn’t the only thing going down with his (hoped for) victory.

Honda V65 says:

“I think that John Kerry is more scared of teabaggers than he was of the Viet Cong – if that’s even humanly possible.”

Having served in Vietnam, I do know the term ‘Viet Cong’ (meaning Vietnamese Communist’) was a pejorative used by the South Vietnamese Gov’t. against its enemies. Surprise! Surprise! The Viet Cong turned this ‘perjorative’ around so that it became (to them and their followers) a badge of honor, and they fought a war under this banner to victory.

We MUST insist we do the same with the term ‘teabagger’. Every single time a GOP spokesman is on T.V. and a Demo uses the term “teabagger”, the GOP spokesman should not ask the Demo to define that term. Instead, the GOP spokesman should say: “I understand the term teabagger means a homosexual who sucks the testicles of another homosexual. I’m sure Barney Franks can verify that definition. However, what does that have to do with the topic under discussion?

I’ll guarantee you, if GOPers pull that off often enough, the term ‘teabagger’ will either fade into oblivion, or, as was the case with ‘Viet Cong’, take on a whole new, universally accepted/approved meaning

Evidently Kerry’s more offended by the joke than the genuinely dangerous professional negligence by his pal Martha that inspired it.

Kerry and jokes have never enjoyed the best relationship. Maybe if he’d done better in Comedy 101 he wouldn’t have gotten stuck Vietnam.

In fact, the rallies I attended were filled with familes and little girls dressed like Palin and carrying signs that said “Today Cinderella, Tomorrow President”. Yeah, dangerous indeed *snort*.

So if Marcia loses tomorrow is she going to be teabagged then? I wonder if Thrill up my leg will say Marcia was teabagged by the teabaggers, now that would be funny.

“I’m no stranger to hard fought campaigns, but what we’ve seen in the past few days is way over the line and reminiscent of the dangerous atmosphere of Sarah Palin’s 2008 campaign rallies.

When I read this, I had two simultaneous reactions:

1. Hysterical laughter

2. The realization that John Kerry is possibly the biggest ass on the national stage — to me, he’s worse (if you can believe) than Reid & Pelosi & Grayson

IF HE SAID THAT HE’S AFRAID OF SARAH PALIN (I.E., DANGEROUS), THEN SO BE IT:

PALIN IS TOO DANGEROUS FOR KERRY.

You know … PHOBIA. It’s psychological problem. We should be more understanding of Kerry.

Kerry has a phobia of independent and strong conservative women: PALINPHOBIA.
