Bush needs to ask Bambi for that Nobel prize money he said he was giving to charity. Let me be clear, I believe Bambi needs some skin in the game

A question for the comments: Do you guys prefer any particular charities to others? I went with Doctors Without Borders because of the medical crisis and the Salvation Army because I’m told they have a strong presence in Haiti, but I wonder if there are even better options.

All the charities are doing outstanding work. I went with Plant With Purpose. They already had staff in and around Haiti before and during the quake, and have for quite some time. Their staff was all accounted for afterward during several hours of fingernail biting, but one staff member did lose his wife and 10-day old child to the quake.

For any SoCal/San Diego natives, they’re a great charity to look into.

Clinton was praising Bush one day and trashing him the next while on the stump for Croakley. Wish Bush would slap the guy next time he sees him.

Despite W’s flaws, he is a very classy man.

Obama has spent the last year blaming Bush for everything bad in the world and America.
Obama spent plenty of time criticizing Bush for the other natural disaster, Katrina.

So why would Obama want to include Bush?

The 2010 elections are coming up and the Democrats are going to use the campaign platform of running against Bush or do want Bush back again.

And so what better way for Obama to remind people of Bush than to put Bush back in the spotlight.

With Obama everything is done for a political reason.

As for the Red Cross, after the embezzling they did with 9/11 money, I can’t trust them anymore.

To me you can never go wrong with donating to the Red Cross for a few reasons. They do a better job then just about any other charity with making sure the money you donate actually goes to the cause instead of being used for administrative cost or fund raising.

to check out a charity program before you give. If they don’t give at least 80% to program expenses I stay away from them. The Red Cross has a 90% rating in this and Doctors without Boarders 87%

But Bush has class that the left can’t even imagine. His behavior is so good in the face of those a-holes.
He’s more of a president then Obama will ever be.
And leadership? No contest. Obama dreams of being the leader Bush was.

In light of all the deal making and breaking going on in Congress of late, I thought it appropriate to highlight the behind the scenes bipartisanship we never hear about on capitol hill.So, without further ado, here is how I feel about the two parties….

Bush has no options. If he declines, they show him as heartless.

If it were me, I’d let them call me heartless and give them the finger, then strike out on my own to encourage people to help out.

If all you people don,t think if something goes wrong (Bush) by agreeing to help Obama will be blamed.There are lots of more good ways Bush could have helped.I am not trying to be political but you know full well the Obama administration will milk this terrible thing for all it,s worth.Just like today when Mrs Clinton showed up for a photo opp.People are dieing and thousands need help now the last thong they need is for thunder thighs to show up and get in the real people who are there to help way.

Then when he spoke, I wasn’t listening to a computer-like robot for the first time in a year.
It was weird. A normal sounding human voice talking again from the white house.
The monotone voice was replaced by a normal voice with normal tone.

It was just so different and good.
