The Ed Morrissey Show: Jim Geraghty, John McCormack
posted at 1:00 pm on January 13, 2010 by Ed Morrissey
Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), Campaign Spot’s Jim Geraghty returns to discuss the updates in various campaign stories, but none as pressing as next week’s Massachusetts special election for the Senate. Weekly Standard’s John McCormack joins us for his own personal perspective, after a Democratic campaign staffer assaulted him for attempting to ask Martha Coakley a question. We’ll have videos and pictures!

It’s not the Kennedy Vineyard, it’s Martha’s Vineyard.

Nice get on John McCormack, Ed.
You must have an awesome producer, which I suspect is you.

Ask him about the Purple People Beater from SEIU.

How can Massachusetts trust Coakley to follow the law if she doesn’t have Meehan arrested and charged with battery?

Don’t you mean the Peoples Republic of Massachusettes. Phrased that way, not as hard to understand.

Rush just read the latest statement out of Camp Coakley claiming Martha isn’t privy to the details of the circumstances. Rush points to the photo of Martha looking at McCormack on the ground. They’re also claiming right wing “stalkers” led to elevating tension or some such. I’ll try and find a link.

Daily Kos is outraged a so-called feminist was asked questions by a male reporter. This is apparently harassment.

Be sure to ask John if he’s the Scott Brown stalker that Martha “heard” something about but didn’t see…

No. Seriously. Go read that article. Coupled with the picture… Get out the butter, she’s toast!

Thanks—we both got it—can’t be posted too many times!

I hope this one goes VIRAL. I mean, come on! How dumb do you have to be to say something like that when you SAW it. Surely she wasn’t aware there was video and still photos, but watching the vid, there were cameras going off, how could you NOT assume they would catch the incident?
For the record, I think John should SUE the pusher and the Coakley campaign for having him on staff. If my husband’s company employed someone who was out pushing people around, I’m sure he’d see a suit.
