Next time Sharpton or Jackson lead a mob through the streets I would like to see the Media state that their concerns were not valid because all the protestors were black or of color. Seems like it should be ok, since they are doing it to whites. Because a person is white somehow they are not entitled to first ammendment rights or their opinions are not valid?

Here is something that I found interesting – bordering on startling.

NPR did a poll (October) – collecting 2,111,063 votes. The question: Is Fox News fair and balanced?

87% (1,843,067) voted that Fox was fair and balanced because it asks questions others don’t and the White House should be able to handle them.

This may be old news – but it bears repeating.

Contrary to the “Rush Limbaugh” simplified world of Liberal/Conservative buckets, your labels mean little. While you are cheering for your “Team” to win, you fail to understand what has made this country great.

First, why do liberals always play the “don’t label me, I’m not a liberal” game? Why are they always ashamed to admit they are liberals? they always claim to be “independents” who have voted for republicans in the past. It’s such a sad and tired gimmick.

Second, I love to hear liberals try and claim they know what makes the country great. What – gov’t? No, individual rights and limited government made this country great. The libs are trying to make this country into no individual rights and the government controls everything (health care, cap and trade, ownership of automakers, banks, and growing gov’t to the point where it is the #1 employer).

That is hardly making the country great. that is instead what will make a great country into a failed nanny state identical to France or Belgium, where 10-15% unemployment is the norm rather than a bad year and you have to wait a year or longer for a simple surgery or other medical treatment.

Explain decider what you think made this country great. Was it individuals seeking to make their own fortune or was it gov’t?

Okay, first, if Glenn Beck suggests the President might be racist, he’s race-baiting, right? But Chris Matthews here, accusing all Tea-Partiers of being racist, isn’t race-baiting at all, correct? Good, just wanted to make sure we’re keeping a consistent standard here.

Second, if Glenn featured mostly whites instead of mostly blacks, what do you think he would be called? Compassionate? Open-minded? Yup, that’s it. Showing black conservatives (who can’t get airtime on any other network because it destroys the illusion that there are none) on his show, though? Totally race-baiting.

Also, um, what the heck are you talking about with Fox featuring a bunch of stories with black faces? HUH? I’m confused…. are we watching the same network?

Have you ever listened to an entire show by Rush, or have you just heard soundbytes filtered through your favorite sources of outrage?

To conclude, all discussion of race issues on Fox is disingenuous race-baiting that panders to racist whites, but MSNBC’s accusing Tea Partiers of racism is relevant and accurate criticism.

Hence, the claims of tea partiers as racists is absurd.

However, Chris Matthews calling us all white displays his RACISM as seeing only white.

Any wonder he works at the Nothing But Caucasian network?

:-) “It” is completely insane.

It also asked why these tea parties didn’t start up in 2000. Well, there are many reasons for that. 1. Bush, coming in, was seen as a conservative, and conservatives wanted to give him a chance. 2. Obama took the bad things that Bush did economically, and amplified them by about a million. There is no comparison. And finally, 3. Liberals/Democrats drowned out all debate with their attacks on President Bush, most of which had absolutely NOTHING to do with his spending and whatnot. Maybe if you all had stopped parading around with signs showing Bush with his head cut off and blood dripping down his neck (yes, these signs were quite common during his admin – another instance of liberal amnesia), we could’ve focused on some of the bad points. The idea that Obama is being treated differently because of his race is ludicrous. Did It say the say thing about those who attacked the Bush administration? No, of course not.
