Chris Matthews: Every single “teabagger” in America is white
posted at 7:37 pm on January 5, 2010 by Allahpundit
Yeah, I know, nothing new for Tingles. But Brooks is taking a beating in the other tea-party thread so I thought I’d give him a break by reminding you that accusing tea partiers of having issues with the “educated class” is actually pretty mild compared to the usual insinuations.
Also, in fairness, employees of MSNBC are probably contractually obligated to call them “teabaggers.”
I’m giving you two clips, actually. The second is short, but an essential — and timely — gloss on the first.
Update: Remember, MSNBC’s been known to edit video in order to obscure unhelpful facts that contradict its racial narratives, so maybe Matthews is innocent here. Maybe his problem is simply that he’s getting his info from … MSNBC.

The Tea Party movement are not Independents or Democrats. It is White, Republican only. If Michael Steel would not get an initiation due to his race.
Decider on January 6, 2010 at 1:29 PM
Hot Air has been so kowtowed by PC that the “N” word has to be edited! Thanks Hot Air for making it impossible to have a contextual conversation on the use of the “N” word.
So, I’ll repost it with the edited PC version.
True, but the context of the word was in the same context that the slave owners used toward slaves. Slave owners didn’t call them “N words”. They called them “n*****s”. The sign is, albeit not very clear, an attempt to show that the tax payers are viewed by our politicians as second class citizens that have few rights and the ones we have they can violate at their whims. In other words, we are the new “n*****s” and our politicians are our “massa’s”.
I only say this to you because the context of someones words have no meaning any longer when $hit eating douche bags like BB and decider can use PCness to muddy the debate. A typical leftist traitor tactic.
The fact is that it’s time for us “n*****s” (regular citizens) to have a civil rights movement for ourselves too. Ironically, folks who were formally discriminated against will be the people we should look to for guidance since they have already fought against repression perpetrated on them by our “massa’s” (politicians).
Mark my words, the demratf**k trolls on this forum will attempt to muddy the point of my comment with PC attacks because I used the word “n*****s”. They wont deal with the context because they can’t stand rational debate.
Making us edit that just feeds the PC attacks.

What is your agenda? Are you trying to create or perpetuate a meme based on lies? It doesn’t make sense. Do you show a lack of shame in every other aspect of your life?
If you had the facts on your side you wouldn’t have to resort to lying and impugning.

Rasmussen appears on Sean Hannity therefore his polls are meaningless.
Decider on January 6, 2010 at 1:32 PM
I’m still waiting for you to posit some proof for this statement. And no, your pathetic opinion doesn’t count as proof.
MarkTheGreat on January 6, 2010 at 1:32 PM
Decider is it your point that anyone against communism is a racist? I’ve and others tried to explain to you that we are against the POLICIES of this president and not his color. Can’t you get that through your head? Turn this around is MSNBC racist because its all white and racist even towards conservative people of color?
garydt on January 6, 2010 at 1:32 PM
Google is your friend Ace. Look it up yourself. It is well know fact outside of the Fox News nation.
Decider on January 6, 2010 at 1:33 PM
Appearing on a show that you don’t like proves that the polls are meaningless.
The more you talk, the more stupid you make yourself look.
My guess is this guy is a professor at some ivy league college. All hate. Mixed with a sense of entitlement. Topped off with an utter inability to think.
MarkTheGreat on January 6, 2010 at 1:35 PM
Decider are the news people of color on Fox racist as well? Can’t they chose their politics without being called racist names by the left? MSNBC sure seems a lot more white then Fox.
garydt on January 6, 2010 at 1:35 PM
The President is not a communist. He is the President of the United States. His policies are no different than that of George W. Bush. Why didn’t the Tea Parties start in 2000?

Anyone familiar with Indian reservations & their clinics knows it’s an extremely inefficient system.
The Sioux res. is just S of me here in SW ND-I know many Indians with off res. jobs that have med benefits & they overwhelmingly choose to doctor off res.
But no one ever talks about these things.

@Decider,
How many Tea Party Rallies have you actually attended yourself?
Jason58 on January 6, 2010 at 1:36 PM
I wonder if it has occurred to Tingletrou that Reid and Pelosi are also all white, every single one of them. Does he actually believe the tea partiers object only to 1/6 (or 1/12, depending on how you count Obie’s dna)of the statist agenda that troika have put in cram-down mode?
Barnestormer on January 6, 2010 at 12:48 PM
Really? Are you sure about that? Polled many tea party activists? I was in DC on 9/12. Here is a little sampling of the people who were anti-Reid and anti-Pelosi at the march:

Fox News is a race peddler for ratings. Their personnel are probably not racist but they race bait their audience so they will keep their ratings high and buy gold from their sponsors.
http://www.politico.com/blogs/michaelcalderone/0709/Foxs_Beck_Obama_is_a_racist.html
Fox News is all about ratings. Like Rush Limbaugh, Fox News is able to walk the fine line of blatant racism with race baiting to gain ratings. Notice how many stories on Fox News feature Black faces. Notice how many Blacks Glen Beck shows vs. Whites. Race sells.

Decider, the tea people are against socialized medicine and bailouts for the car companies. Does this make them racist? Just because you are against a POLICY doesn’t make you a racist even from people of color. BO’s policies are certainly more leftward and socialistic then Bush and Bush seemed to take dissent alot better then BO. Bush also didn’t blame problems on Clinton either or at least I am not aware of them. Face it you hate it when people of color don’t think or act like you do.

Guys look, @sswipes like Decider, BB, and the rest of the trolls have more in common with the trolls who frequent Dkos etc then they do with anyone else. They are obese immature morons who have no interest in rational debate, but rather are trying to exorcise their inferiorities through anonymous @sshattery. They live in their grandma’s basement, never see the sun, and have never kissed a girl.
This is what they look like.
Would you spend one second of your time trying to educate someone like that if they were standing in front of you? Not likely.
csdeven on January 6, 2010 at 1:44 PM
LOL, I got moderated. DECIDER- You claim the Tea Parties are not about anti- Reid or anti- Pelosi sentiment. I tried to post a bunch of pix from the 9/12 Rally in DC where people were holding signs and wearing shirts that were specifically about Pelosi and Reid. There were a million of them- you don’t know what you are talking about. For every Obama poster there were twenty about Barney Frank.

That’s about the best answer we’ll get from Him/her.
Clearly, there is no definitive answer to that question, and it’s entirely foolish to pretend there is a definitive answer as “Decider” tried to assert.
Chainsaw56 on January 6, 2010 at 1:56 PM
Never noticed anything racist on Fox but I have noticed all the white faces on MSNBC and whats with that? Decider,,, you didn’t answer the question about whether the folks of color are racist on Fox? You seem to be all knowing and omnipresent about every situtation. I still don’t get you on how BO’s policies are the same as Bushes considering what a whacko BO’s attorney general and homeland security people are. BO seems to pick people not of the mainstream but out in the leftfield.
garydt on January 6, 2010 at 1:56 PM
Okay, I’ll ask, what does that mean?
Chainsaw56 on January 6, 2010 at 1:57 PM
I don’t watch cable news and would suggest that any thinking person should not either. Fox News and MSNBC are the same but different. If you watch MSNBC or Fox News than your opinion is influenced by misinformation.
Decider on January 6, 2010 at 1:59 PM
Decider doesn’t know, decider decides. Decider decides how everyone around him should think, and that is it, because the decision has been made.

I guess Krist is right when you reserve the right to decide every decision for everyone. By not watching Fox I know you are wrong about the racism there.

Is there something in your background that makes you bitter about the whole subject?
I think it would fair to say they most Conservatives and Libertarians would like to move away from judging people based on the color of their skin and would rather judge them on the content of their character.
But some like to keep on opening old racial wounds, why is that?

That race baiter Glenn Beck sure is doing a bad job at his race baiting. Unless you meant that he is purposely featuring more bad white people than black?

Decider reflects exactly what is wrong with today’s educational system. Somewhere along the way, some idiot told he/she/it how smart and intellectual he/she/it was and they thought they were being sincere (when in fact, they just didn’t want decider to have feelings hurt). So ever since then there’s been this delusion, like most libs/dims/socialists, that everyone else is just plain dumb. For most of us with some “higher education” under our belts, it’s very easy to recognize how dumbed down decider really is, but he/she/it will keep arguing their points because they are so damned intelligent.

DrMagnolias on January 6, 2010 at 6:28 PM
:-) “It” is completely insane.
It also asked why these tea parties didn’t start up in 2000. Well, there are many reasons for that. 1. Bush, coming in, was seen as a conservative, and conservatives wanted to give him a chance. 2. Obama took the bad things that Bush did economically, and amplified them by about a million. There is no comparison. And finally, 3. Liberals/Democrats drowned out all debate with their attacks on President Bush, most of which had absolutely NOTHING to do with his spending and whatnot. Maybe if you all had stopped parading around with signs showing Bush with his head cut off and blood dripping down his neck (yes, these signs were quite common during his admin – another instance of liberal amnesia), we could’ve focused on some of the bad points. The idea that Obama is being treated differently because of his race is ludicrous. Did It say the say thing about those who attacked the Bush administration? No, of course not.
Narutoboy on January 6, 2010 at 6:34 PM
I thought a racist was someone who put racial considerations before all other, regardless of facts or evidence.

Hence, the claims of tea partiers as racists is absurd.
However, Chris Matthews calling us all white displays his RACISM as seeing only white.
Any wonder he works at the Nothing But Caucasian network?

The democrat party was started as the OFFICIAL strongarm of the KKK. Why stay with them?
Hmmm, must be Stockholm syndrome?
dthorny on January 6, 2010 at 8:05 PM
Someone may have pointed this out already, but I LOL’d when I read this:
Okay, first, if Glenn Beck suggests the President might be racist, he’s race-baiting, right? But Chris Matthews here, accusing all Tea-Partiers of being racist, isn’t race-baiting at all, correct? Good, just wanted to make sure we’re keeping a consistent standard here.
Second, if Glenn featured mostly whites instead of mostly blacks, what do you think he would be called? Compassionate? Open-minded? Yup, that’s it. Showing black conservatives (who can’t get airtime on any other network because it destroys the illusion that there are none) on his show, though? Totally race-baiting.
Also, um, what the heck are you talking about with Fox featuring a bunch of stories with black faces? HUH? I’m confused…. are we watching the same network?
Have you ever listened to an entire show by Rush, or have you just heard soundbytes filtered through your favorite sources of outrage?
To conclude, all discussion of race issues on Fox is disingenuous race-baiting that panders to racist whites, but MSNBC’s accusing Tea Partiers of racism is relevant and accurate criticism.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the Twisted Mind of the Modern American Liberal.

Tingles doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I’ve been to 4 Tea Parties and there have been people of all races there. I’ve talked to Asians, Hispanics, one Native American and several African Americans, to be politically correct, as well as many Caucasians. There were a lot there that I didn’t talk to, but I saw them and they were toting signs just like I was. They weren’t worried about their races any more than I. They were there because they were worried about their country: America — and what the people in power were doing to it.

Ignore Decider. Its purpose is to drag the discussion off of Tingles’ stupidity and onto race. It’s easy to be disruptive and obnoxious from behind an wall of anonymity. I’ll bet it’s considerably more subdued in person.
