White House promises left: Illegals will be eligible for ObamaCare after we give them amnesty

Remember last week’s seemingly inexplicable news that The One would try to cram amnesty down America’s gullet next year, too? It’s not so inexplicable, really. Once you understand that he’ll do literally anything, including sacrificing dozens of Blue Dogs, to pass health-care reform, this makes perfect sense.
Like Joe Wilson, I was worried for awhile that he might try to extend federal benefits to illegals, but now that I know he’s planning to wave his hand and magically legalize them first, I feel better.
Lawmakers who want to extend health coverage to illegal immigrants will not block the passage of the final health care reform bill so long as the White House offers a substantive promise to start pushing comprehensive immigration legislation this year…
A source familiar with the negotiations between Congress and the White House told TPMDC the Congressional Hispanic Caucus will demand an agreement from Obama that health care coverage for illegals who earn a path to citizenship will be addressed in an immigration bill…
Those familiar with the talks say any immigration legislation will include various amnesty provisions to allow for health care coverage.
Newsflash for the left: Amnesty’s not going to pass in this political climate if it couldn’t pass in 2007, so either this is all an elaborate kabuki aimed at tactfully caving on benefits for illegals or the CHC is a really, really cheap date. As for the right, if this sounds familiar it’s because The One has been hinting at doing it for at least four months. Not sure why it hasn’t been more of a talking point among conservative pundits — probably people would just as soon avoid another clash with Hispanic voters — but it’s about to become a hot potato. Which, honestly, is probably Obama’s whole point in pushing it.

Have anyone really polled Hispanics about this issue? Who said that this is really an important issue for us? Every time that I’m in family reunions or with friends and we talk about current events, amnesty for illegals never enters into the conversation. We might talk about the economy, the housing market, that kind of thing, never amnesty.

Back when the Dhimms were saying they would not give Obamacare to illegals AND that Obamacare would not kick in until AFTER Obama’s campaign promises of Amnesty, I knew they were planning on making American taxpayers foot their socialist program of free healthcare at our expense for anybody that could hijack, stow away or crawl into our country.
The Leftist government has gone insane and if something doesn’t stop them, everything we know and love about this country will be fundamentally altered if not destroyed. This is getting out of hand and soon we will reach an ignition point.

People everywhere – including posters here – have been saying this was the plan for quite awhile now. It perfectly explains how they plan on *not* losing the elections in 2010.
And to the folks who say it’ll never pass, let me cordially refer you to the stimulus, to cap and trade, to the healthcare bill, all of which folks said would never pass, but these traitors in DC will continue to do whatever the hell they want. Healthcare *will* pass, and so will amnesty.

The illegals can stay with SSS cards and legal worker status, but they can never attain citizenship, nor can their second generation.The result will be to disarm those who claim not allowing visiting workers is inhumane, but it provides a serious consequence for violating our laws in never being able to achieve citizenship.

He thinks he’s building the permanent majority of government dependent drones. Unfortunately (for him) he’s drawing to an inside straight–too many things would have to fall into place in order for his plan to work. All of his plans rely on piling more and more debt and taxes onto an already struggling economy. If the economy should happen to recover despite all that, so he doesn’t lose the House, he’ll be hard to stop, but that chances of that happening? I’d rather draw to an inside straight.

And you fail to realize something. The Dems may be royally stupid when it comes to policy and execution, but they can be brilliant when it comes to strategy. Hispanics may not be in the majority now, but demographics (particularly birthrate data) point to the idea that the constituencies they are building (and enslaving through their policies) will be in the majority in 40 or so years.

Hispanics are not really disposed to to the whole leftist agenda, at least not the majority of them, in my opinion. The right message and actions would win many back to the conservative side. The Dems, to this point, have not totally coopted them into life on the dole, let us hope that it does not happen. I say this being part hispanic myself, I do not think they have won the majority, they may have swayed them for the last few elections but there is still hope. One of the main things I encounter is very conservative thinking individuals but they identify as Liberals, because they THINK that is what is cool in their group. When I can get them to talk about issues they are generally to the right of moderates. I am working ont hem slowly but surely.
