Changes for Hawaii: The Manager’s Amendment singles out Hawaii as the only state to receive a Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) extension.

I have a theory as to why this exemption is being offered. The defunding of DSH in the House & Senate Bill is to decimate the Catholic Charities system of care. As it is very unlikely that CHAUSA will shut it's doors to the poor when the federal payment stop, they will hope their charities will pick up the slack. But there is no way that funding can be made up.

Hawaii is the only state whose DSH funding went only to private hospitals. If you look up the care that Catholic Charities provides in Hawaii you can see they only have long term care facilities there - no tie in's with hospitals or any freestanding hospitals.

Hawaii got this exemption because one of the the intents of defunding the DSH is to defund the Catholic Charities hospitals (and their partnerships).

We've got 2 Dem senators in Colorado, and we get nothing for their votes?

How should I feel about that Harry?

If they don’t have something in it important to them then it doesn’t speak well of them.

Ok, so I should be disappointed that they couldn't manage to scrape up a single bribe for the state. At least according to their party leader in the Senate.

Now that the Dims have established it is OK to give "advantages" to one state over another, 2011 will be time to go "Red State" on them.

Red State would be to change taxing, policing and benefits based on Red or Blue State.
Example: Blue States would have their Federal Matching percentage lowered to 1%, Red States raised to 99%. (Too bad CA/NY.)

Changes for Sen. Sanders (Vermont):

    * In addition the Vermont FMAP increase, the amendment includes a provision pushed by Sanders to provide an additional $10 billion in funding for community health centers and the National Health Services Corps which he argues would provide primary care to 25 million more people.

Wait a second...I thought there were only 31 million people without insurance in the whole country?

I'm a California transplant myself... I left that cesspool 15 years ago.

Spokane fits my right-side thinking, just fine.

Now, if we could just get rid of the Pierce and King county Libtards, things would be perfect.

I will be sending letters of disgust to the main chambers of commerce for each of these states to let them know that their senators cost them some tourist dollars. No money from my family in their states if they are getting their "sweetheart" deals. Not that anyone can or will be able to afford to travel anyway once these idiot taxes kick in.

The senators that accepted special deals for thier vote are nothing more than whores, people who screw other people for payment. And what of the senators who did not make a deal and voted for this bill? Well they are just sluts, they screw other people for nothing.
